East TN | OK, I am running Lloydz cams and VFC III, with intake plate... What added benefits would I get from adding the Lloydz ECM, besides the rev limiter??
Does it help with idle?
Does it help with cold starts?
Does it help smooth out the engine/sputter when cold?
What all does it get you when installed???

| More POWER!!!!! 6400 rpm's you can shift 5500 to5800 while your buddys are hitting the rev limter.

Lavon, TX | It gets you off of that danged rev limiter in 1st and 2nd gears...and in 6th!
Timing curve is adjusted so that 1st and 2nd have more usable range.
No more 122mph engine shutdown due to rev limit. I honestly do not know where the top end is now; at 138mph, I got scared and backed off the throttle (tires are only speed rated for 130mph). Four screws to remove the flat box underneath your seat, which is the ECM itself. One cable contains all the wiring - very simple swap out. Adjust VFCIII settings and add ajustable IAV to address your mentioned issues. |

| With your mods I bet you sacrificed - smoothness. Unless you have the light touch of a helicoptor pilot, the throttle must feel jerky and difficult to maintain constant speeds at RPMs below 3k. - Yes?
I would talk to Lloyd, he is likely one of the most honest folks in the business, and doen't like selling product just to make a buck.
Find out from him if the ECM can smooth out that power, other than that (in your case), I can't see any benefit either. |

Lavon, TX | My bike originally came with the S1L1 kit. At that time, I had many issues with poor low speed manuvering - dropping the bike numerous times in parking lots, pulling off paved roads onto gravel driveways, slowly driving down dirt roads, traversing pasture/field to set up camp, etc.
An unexpected side benefit of adding the VFCIII / VM1 cams / intake plate was a MUCH smoother low speed ability. In fact, now my wife makes me go in back of her (Vegas Low) whenever we arrive onto the above mentioned situations - as my Vision is able to smoothly manuver at lower speeds than she can.
At that point, my only remaining gripes were the popping and my constantly hitting the rev limiter in the lower gears whenever I aggressively took off.
Replacing the exhaust gaskets and adding the adjustable IAV (should) resolve the popping (haven't installed these yet).
And as I said earlier, the rev extend ECM got me off of the rev limiter. |

| I can not say enough good things about the new ECM. The change to first and second are worth the change.
The extended rev limiter is just gravy! Bike has been running sweet lately with the cold weather.
Hit the new limiter twice in first the other day. Was amazed I could twist the throttle that far.

Cabot Arkansas | I wonder how hard the addtional rpms are on the motor,I was under the impression that long stroke motors don't like the higher rpms.I know Victory set a fairly low rpm limit which with their stock cams was sufficent.I would like a few hundred extra rpm when running through the gears with my buddy on his goldwing especially when the ECM shuts down the fun @ 122. I just don't want to grenade my motor after a couple years of spirited riding  |
