A good friend of mine has been working on solving some pinging problems with his H-D 103 and he ran accross a fellow in Indiana that has enough spare cash lying around that he has bought his own Dyno and is apparantly going his own way with tuning. He was working with TTS and more recently DirectLink to access the ECM to gain tuning control. My friend says that it was indicated to him that the DirectLink for Victorys will be available very soon. Let the games begin!!!!!!!

as cool as that sounds. for the average person to be able to find someone trained enough to know what they are doing might be a complete hassle. where as just going out and buying a power commander and be done with it. at least with the powercommander i can plug my laptop into my PC5 and control it in anyway i want instead of being forced to go to someone that has the proper hardware and software.

Or you can stick an Autotune on it and forget about it

Did you use the harley version as it has two 02 sensors? I will go this route when the warranty is up.

They have a new part# for the Vision which consists of two O2 sensors. The only thing different from the Harley part# is that they deleted the special Harley plug where it attaches for power. Otherwise its the same thing. One improvement is that they went from two separate boxes, one for each sensor, that were wired together to having two sensors that attach to one box. Makes it easier to fit in the nook where the XM radio is.

I used the Harley one - with two O2 sensors (it was before they released the newer one... It is great as you can set up a map for each cylinder.

You can adjust timing with the power commander right, as the auto tune just does a/f mixture correct?

I have no experience with the power commander or their auto-tune. I had a Thunder Max on my '07 Ultra and that had two wide band sensors and you could make adjustments with it and it would rund great and within a few days it always came back to running 'not quite right'. I know the systems are different but I am inclined to stay away from anything that self tunes. It was kinda like trying to hit a ever moving target.
