Started looking into the show that is advertised on VR home page (http://www.motorcycleshows.com/). The website includes a review article on the 2011 Vision under the Cruiser tab. Interesting that it was written by a sport bike rider who took it through one of his regular twisty runs.

I was disappointed to see that Victory will only be at 3 of their shows and DC did not make the list.

Can anyone provide a thumbs up or thumbs down review on the show from last year?

Yeah....Whats up with Victory not going to the shows. Ive always looked forward to the Victory display because Ive always wanted one. Well I bought 2 this fall and was looking forward to talking to the display guys and now they wont be there.
Seems to me they need to get the Cross bikes out there as much as possible along with the Vision and promote the heck out of them !!!!

Been to that show a couple of times. It's ok, but I enjoy the show that follows a couple of weeks later at the Timonimum MD Fairgrounds much better. It's a larger show. More show bikes, more vendors. Last year a group of the local Victory dealers were jointly staffing a Victory Booth. It's what finally made the decision for me to trade the HD Electra Glide for a sweet 2009 Vision.

If the weather is nice, it will be crowded, but there is lots to see.

I just got a reply from one of the local dealers. Melinda at Southern Victory of MD said that they and Chesapeake Cycles will also be there.
Both are very good dealers that have treated me very well. So if you are in the area, stop by and say hello to them. Melinda is with SoVicMD and Mike should be there from Chesapeake.
Tell them I said hi - the old crazy guy with the white Vision in the local area.
Hope to see some of you there and also at Timonium - both good shows but I agree that Timonium is the bigger of the two with usually more vendors that will sell you another pair of gloves that you just have to have.

Timonium is in the back yard and I've enjoyed it, but never got down to DC. I've enjoyed my couple of visits to Chesapeake and talking with Mike there as well as at the show.

Victory only really does the big shows and bike rallies. It's up to the dealers to represent at the smaller bike shows. Us at catlin's went to DC with southern Maryland in 2009. There wasn't a whole lot of people there. Some lady got on one of the Vegas Lows without help and dropped it because she was used to her heavy harley and threw it off the kickstand onto the ground. But since there wasn't such a gret turnout nobody represented in 2010.
