The tapped holes in the left and right reservoirs on the '09 and up Visions are 10mm, the Victory accessory mount that replaces the lower clamp on either side is tapped with 3/8-16NC threaded holes. The two different threads are incompatible.

But they should work for a bar camera mount since most tripod camera holders are 10 MM or occasionally Whitworth (British thread, but, let that dog lie unless you are big into VINCENTS). Check with the local camera store and see if they have a screwin mount that will fit there.

The mounting ball sold by victory that I purchased was 10mm x 1.25. This is the same as the tapped holes next to the brake/clutch lever. Ram sells both metric and SAE threaded ball studs. They also sell a whole slue of mounts for electronic devices, as well as cup holders. You could put a cup holder on one side and a camera mount on the other. BTW all the ball mounts and brackets sold by Victory are actually manufactured by RAM.

My 2008 clutch and brake are not drilled. No hole at all.

Maybe I should drill and tap them....maybe not. I just cannot decide.

Hoosier Vic is right they are 10mmx1.25 ,I got my cup holder from a dealer up north,I think it was about 70.00. I just bought a gps holder, arm and ball mount from GPSCity.com for less than 38.00 including shipping. If your looking for ram mounts try them ,they got lots and lots of differant ones and are cheaper than most dealers from what I've seen.

I used the threaded holes to mount my GPS and Spot Tracker.

I have a cup holder and phone mount (when I am working I can see who rings and decide whether to stop or not)

It isn't too hard to drill and tap the mounts, the are cast aluminum, very easy to drill and tap. Just buy the ball mounts of your choice and match tap to the stud thread size.

I like the ball mounts because in just a few seconds you can remove or switch out what is mount to the ball. And if you wast to leave stuff off the ball stud is "clean" looking, no need to remove.

Or you can just not bother, it's all up to what you want. I like versatility and practicality. I think UKNessie illustrates that very well above.

Where do you buy your balls? (This is the serious section of my post)
Mine are threaded and I would be able to mount many things if I had balls!

The best choice is the Ram Mount web site. They have a tremendous selection of ball mounts, arms and brackets for almost anything made. Here is a link to there individual components:   http://www.ram-mount.com/EmptyPages/COMPONENTS/BCOMPONENTS/tabid/1556/Default.aspx

NOTE: Don't forget to click on the tabs at the top of the page for the different types of components.

This link if for the detailed drawings of many of their components. This will give you specific dimensions of some of the stuff they offer:  http://www.ram-mount.com/SupportCenter/Drawings/tabid/310/Default.aspx

Balll mount that fits the Victory mirror mount threaded holes:  http://www.ram-mount.com/CatalogResults/PartDetails/tabid/63/partid/082065077045066045051052057085/Default.aspx

Hey R/T,

I too have an 08 Vision, but I used the ram ball diamond base mount - don't remember the number but it's the only diamond shaped base they sell. I bought longer bolts to mount the bases to the top of my clutch and brake reservoirs -the bolt hole pattern matches up with the two outside screws(top and bottom) in the reservior. I put an 1/8 inch pad between the two to make make up for the little peak in the top. Torqued to spec and have been in place for a couple thousand miles with no problems. I mount my Ram cup holder on one and my E-Z pass or GPS in the other. Wish I had pictures, maybe I can figure out the upload. Total investment for two bases, two medium length ~3" arms, 4 screws, pads, cup holder and E-Z pass mount >$75.00, best part NO drilling.

The diamond comes in chrome and they also have chrome arms to match if that interests you.
