Apopka, FL | Yesterday afternoon I rode about 140 miles listening to talk AM radio. When I went out for the evening to a meeting at church, the radio displayed: ICTORY MOTORCYCL The radio display lights and buttons did not turn off when I parked the bike at church. None of the radio functions worked. I could not reset it. When I came out of the meeting after 1.5 hours, the bike fired right up and the radio reset and came on as normal. Worked fine on the way home. Must be that evil conservative talk radio. Has anyone else had this problem?

Ruskin, Fl | LOL, I was going to make a talk radio comment. Since I got an iPhone I listen to the vast right wing conspiracy through the iHeart radio app. Crystal clear. My AM stinks. My radio has had similar glitches. They are far and few in between, and I believe related to the iphone. |

Bay of Gigs, WA | I'm irritated the "smooth jazz" channel up here turned into some other format. Talk, sports (except during a game) and lyrical stuff just has too many messages anymore. Give me the wordless, mindless honking of a jazz sax anytime. |

| Just for the heck of it why not pull the wires off the radio look for water. Put some crease or Vaseline or electric grease on the triennials and don't forget to do the antenna and see if that helps. |

New York State | I had something similar occur if you disconect the battery and let it sit overnight re hook up Battery LCD display may reboot but you will have to reset your preset buttons and clock. |

Quad Cities, IL | +1 on the battery disconnect. I had this issue right when I bought the '08 Vision. I was worried if I left the Victory Motorcycle display and backlight on over night that it would be dead before long. Called my dealer (3 hours away) and they suggested to disconnect the battery. The reboot worked fine for a while then it happened 2x again. Repeat the process. The next time I was down in Ottumwa I took it in and they did some radio electronic software download (or something). Hasn't happened since. Seemed to be an issue on '08-early'09 Visions. |

, AR United States | My dealer replaced my radio twice under warranty. The first radio went silent but the display was fine, and the second would lose sound and display at times. The software upgrade didn't help them. The third radio has worked well since they put it in.

Davenport, IA | I know what you are talking about. I have an "09 and it happened to me after I had the bike for a couple months. I took it to the dealer and had it reflashed, or they installed the updated software. Has not reoccured since. |

Apopka, FL | Well that was the 1st go around. We'll see if it happens again. I'm hoping for a '10 radio! If I can only kill this one. Anyone have any bright ideas how to ZAP it? I have the extended warranty. Should be a win for both me and the dealership! They get paid warranty work and I get a better radio! |

| here is a way to reset the radio .shut the bike off wait for the I.A.C. to reset(it makes a clicking like noise) turn key on and press start button. there are two ways to stop this from happening one is to shut the radio off before the bike. the other is wait for the fuel pump to prime before pushing the start button when starting.this problem is caused when the radio is not fully booted and the start button is pushed.

hey doc, mine did that for some time in the early days of riding. I actually got to believing that it was a defective radio. Having pulled off the console to do the tree bearing I was putting everything back together and the plug to the back of the radio made a distinctive click, one I had never heard before from the previous times. You know what, I've not a single problem with it since then. Nothing to loose for you...I'd use dielectric grease, say away from the vaseline, I hear it will harden the plastic and make it brittle. |
