Will I fit a Victory Vision Tour + a KP Tour in a 6x12 enclosed trailer? 7x12? Or do I have to go to 7x14? I am sure some of you have tried this combination before so I'm counting on your experience. I realize I would have to stagger them, but will that still give me enough room because of the large rear of the VV and the long fenders of the KP?

I think I am going to lay out some 2x4's tonight and measure out differing trailer sizes. Last fall I hauled 4 bikes in a 7x16 enclosed trailer and although towing was fine, I felt stopping was dangerous in the mountains for my Navigator. A person really needed a 3/4 ton truck for that much weight. I'm not going to tow that much again. I want a smaller trailer that will just hold these 2 bikes.

What trailer size will fit these 2 bikes? Any first hand experience here?

In a 6 x 12 you are really pushing it.. The only way would be pull the vv in first move it to one side.. then put the kp in backwards. The only issue is the vv is wide in the rear. You would have to tie the back wheels down good , therefore not to move around at all. Otherewise you might bounce into the other one when you hit a bad road. Good luck...... be safe

I plan on purchasing a trailer with brakes on all 4 wheels, but I choose to not pull 4 bikes anymore. Not unless I get a 3/4 ton truck.

Are your bikes broke??? I used to have a trailer but only used it twice in 5 years... once when someone rear ended me so I had to haul my bike to a shop and once when I moved and didn't have enough drivers... One of my favorite helmet stickers... "I rode my bike to trailer week..." Now after my wife and I rode across eastern SD, southern MN, IL, and IN on our way back from Yellowstone she said she would never "ride" across the prairie to get out west again... the only way she will go is if I haul the bike (I told her I would "Iron Butt" my way out and she could fly next time). So I understand from that perspective why you might need a trailer but come on friend FL never gets cold.

P.S Hope you have a sense of humor... I'm just sayin' this in good fun.

HaHa Mike... Yes, I got a chuckle. But, you see, the problem is, my wife is only good for 60-100 miles at best before taking a break. Now, just 4 weeks ago she rec'd a new knee. She HOPES she will be ready to ride in August in NC. So, I am trailer hunting for her. And, BTW, her knee is doing pretty good.

I actually tried this with my vision and my k-pin in the short time that i owned both. HELL NO dont do the 6x12, you will cuss yourself silly.
you will have to fit the bikes in which leaves you no human body room to get out once you strap down. Also consider this. Its not like you can ride the bike in, then simply push each one towards the outter wall to fit the next one. Imagine, rolling forward backing up rolling forward backing up etc etc to get it moved over. Its just not worth the anxiety. The only way we considered doing it was to pull the Vision in forward
then back the Kingpin in so they were "69". Which theoretically would make it easier fit wise, but we never tried it. Lets face it bigger is better and no one has ever bragged how small theirs was.......

Crap I forgot the whole suggestive point. We bought the dual Kendon trailer instead. It fits two big bikes without any problem and when its not in use, the whole thing folds up flat against the wall for storage. Id recommend that unless you are really set on an enclosed trailer look at the dual Kendon trailer. Totally bad ass trailor. We purchased custom GEZA covers for the bikes and towed without any problems at all. drive it on drive it off fold it up and be done with it.
