Doesn't look like you'll  have to change your callsign to sunryder anytime soon.

Rainryder,
I can top that, not only is it raining non stop here in Mt. Vernon but this weekend is the Tulip Festival meaning the streets and every road will be full of out of area and out of town idiots staring @ the fields of Tulips and Daffodils and not watching the road. I'm stayin' home and will give the bike a good wash and nut & bolt check under the carport canopy.

Had a couple days where I was able to get to the beer store and back without getting drenched. At least the rain today is a Monday. Looks like a Pineapple Express, with tropical moisture from Hawaii shooting like a firehose our way. Still, wouldn't trade for all those storms in the Southeast and Midwest. I got drains around to mitigate the water-not too much can be done to flush a tornado...Good luck to all you guys down there, hope your homes are bermed up for safety.

I'm glad it never rains, blows, freezes, or snows in beeyouteeful Utah. This here's gods country, I tell ya'. Home of the Great Salt Lake, er, and many other grand destinations. "This, truly is the place." Somebody pass me another cold one - root beer, that is.......

How fast is your Vision on the salt?

And yes, you guys up in the "convergence zone" got us South Sounders beat when it comes to rainfall. The Daffodils and tulips are cool, though!

The Salt Flats wouldn't know what hit 'em if the Vision graced it's big expanse!!

Saturday the local paper had an article - "60 days of no Precipitation"
Went for a 6hr ride. 85deg, 10% humidity
Now nursing a pretty good sunburn, but don't think I am going to get any sympathy here :-)

Just look out for ice patches if you get up in the mountains like that guy who spilled a couple weeks ago. He did ride it home, though. Still can't believe he didn't have to bleep out the rest of his ride due to profanity...

So, I got, like, an inch of snow in my driveway today. At least it ain't rain. I got the pic stored in "My Pictures", and I'm trying to post it but if I copy it, then right click on this screen, it won't paste. And if I try to click and drop it, it won't go that way either. Anybody know how to post a pic to this blog? It's infuriating to me to be so stupid when everybody else has shots and videos all over the place and the seemingly simplest things absolutely stymie me.

Thanks in advance...

Don't use the quick response box. Hit a reply button, and a more detailed reply box will pop up with a checkbox at the bottom for attaching a file after posting. Just make sure your .jpg is less than 100k. That's about 600 pixels wide @ 85% compression quality.
