| I am interested in getting a set of these offered from Victory ... can anyone comment on the installation work and the actual usage? I am always looking for additional places to put my feet, I get a little cramped at the top portion of my legs although I am only 5-9 and a very short inseam.

Akron, Ohio | I like mine but do find that they are very wide if you put your feet all the way out. I tend to use more of the inside of the pegs. On a long ride they are worth the money. |

Cabot Arkansas | I had a set on my Vik when I got it. At first I didn't seem to use them much. I took a 1800 mile trip out west and found them very useful. I'm a 5"8 inseem guy but they are worth the extra nickle. |

| I bought a set of the pegs from my dealer this afternoon and put them on when I got back today. The spring thing was a challenge, but the pegs look great on the bike and from the short ride I took it will be nice to have yet another place to move my feet and legs too.
Thanks for all the input. I just wish items for the VV where not so darn expensive! |

Keep an eye on the classified section of Vision Rider, good deals all the time.
I went with Heel Blades from CycleOps. Cheaper and not as gawdy. I'm 6'4" though. They may me a stretch for short legs. |

Pittsburgh, PA | easy install but as a taller person (6ft 3) i find that the pegs allow you to go wider but not any further forward. I still use mine to give me another place to stretch out on but it would be better to move my feet forward instead of wider. |

| Day late dollar short. I bought the ones Tri-City Polaris sell out of Utah. I really like them and they look great with the "V" cut in them.

Quad Cities, IL | I have the Victory Hwy pegs on my 2008 SSG Vision. On longer rides, I am glad I have them but I don't use them a ton considering the long floor board gives lots of movement options for my 5'9" 32" inseam build.
The thing I like best about them is they actually provide several options. I can spread wide and fully stretch out. Or i can shift off the boards just a slight bit and still have a support for my feet. But I use them most as a heel cup. I place my heels just north of the pivot point between it and the floor board. For me they are really comfortable this way, short ride or long haul.
The downside, I almost never fold them up because they get in the way of my foot movements for shifting/braking and when dropping my feet at a stop. So I leave them down always. Never had a problem draggin them...If I happen to lean hard into a turn the flex easily enough without causing any concern to me.
All in all, I like them. Pic attached.

Richmond, Virginia | Look at the photos on my Discussion page of my bike. you can see the Tri City ones. They are much better, more versatile then the chrome hot dogs.
They allow for many many different foot angles, not just either on or off . |

Fargo, ND | The V-Pegs have never gotten in the way when putting my feet down. Not sure what you mean by that, Nozzledog. Here is a link to the V-Pegs. http://www.tricityperformance.net/eshopprod_cat_2332-18091-18097-59... They mount farther forward than the Victory highway pegs, and provide a lot of different foot position options all the way from hooking your heels in the top notches for a full stretch, to adding additional angled and stretched foot position with your heels still on the boards. They are a LOT more versatile than a hot-dog style peg. Besides, they look GREAT! I can also attest to the fact that they don't touch the ground when the bike is on the tipovers. They are a very wothwhile addition. |

Mt. Vernon, WASH. | Be sure and use blue lock tite on the nut that holds the foot rest to the bracket, mine were dealer installed and while doing my Spring 'nut & bolt' found the 17mm nut loose. you can also 'stake' the nut with a pin punch to the threads. (can't type for nuthin' this morning)

Parkersburg WV | I installed mine with no problem. Not long afterwards I was motoring down a 2 lane they had just re-surfaced and they had orange cones in the center and I was going faster than I should have been and hit a cone with my left peg......about 50mph or so. It was enough to bend the peg bracket. Threw the cone back and hit my wifes foot. Left a very small scrape on the rear tip over chrome cover. I gotta say though.....the VISION never jarred or missed a lick, very stable.
A tip is to swap the bolt around on one of them so the nut is to the rear. Just looks better.
