OK, so I have a big head(all brain )!

I have a 2XL KBC FFR Modular that fits me well, but KBC has gone under.

The HJC and others in 2XL are not close and the 3XL are still tight on chin.

I want to stay with a modular.

What do you all that have an enormous brain like me wear for a helmet?

Thanks,

CHUCK

WOW, I thought I was alone in this world!!! I use, on occasion, an HCI modular helmet. Don't know what model it is but it runs big compared to other 2XL's.

I got a big one....head that is, and for me the best fitting modular was a Schuberth Concept-not cheap but very comfortable. I don't wear a full face all the time but it's sure nice when it's cold/raining or when I ride my bike that doesn't have a windshield-Brian

I wear a Scorpion EXO 900 XXL. Very comfortable and not that expensive. I got one on eBay used for $200.

The shape of your head does make a difference. Big 'round' heads like mine do not do well in Nolan of HJC helmets. Shoei fit very well.

I never thought there would be a science in getting the right helmet. You have to look across brands to get the right fit, not just on size, but shape as well.

I've got a Victory half helmet that is my cool helmet around town, but it trash for the long haul. I started my ride to California wearing that helmet and a last minute decision to bring my exo-100 saved me some bucks and a whole lot of discomfort. I wasn't even out of Virginia and I put up the Victory and put on the exo-100 it hurt so bad. I rode wearing the exo-100 with no discomfort. Each helmet is the same size, just different shapes.

Take your time and shop for the right helmet, I hope you find what you need. I wonder if you can get a peach basket with a D.O.T. sticker on it?
