I haven't been able to tune in the weather band since my Vision was new. I know for a fact that channel one is the right one for my area because I have a weather band radio in my home and the shop manual shows channel one with the same frequencie. Anybody else having a problem tuning it in?

Channel 7 works great in the Jacksonville,Fl area. It also works fine in central California around Santa Barbara/Santa Maria.Same channel, different ends of the country- IMAGINE THAT!

I am in Dallas also and channel 1 works. I have used the other channels in other locations as well. I think I have had some days in dallas where I had to use Channel 7 to get weather information. If the AM and FM is working the WB should be also.

I can say that Channel 7 works here near where I live, but when I went a few miles south, none of them worked. I don't know that your weather band doesn't work as much as the reception is not great on these bikes period. I imagine that the weather band is using the same antenna as the AM/Fm, which is a wire on the underside of the metal cover above the headlight. I have similar problems with radio stations that come in great in my car, but aren't very good on the bike. I am thinking of making a new antenna for the bike, if I make the mod I will let everyone know how it works.

Mine works, since it worked and I didn't have a problem, I didn't reply. So either way would have been good for you. I think I just inferred something, maybe not.
