there have been previous reports of leaking engines, very few though. One guy across the pond, either downunder or Kiwiland had engine problems like a cracked case. They took care of all them immediately without quams. I don't expect any less from this ordeal. As far as the loaner, that is entirely up to the dealer. If they could afford to do that in all cases they'd never be able to sell their "well-demo'd" bikes. Each mile means a dollar, but if they see the customer relationship benefit, I'd say you'd get one, but don't count on it. Even car dealerships don't always do that.

Hope you get on the road again soon. I can't stand it even when the bike is down for maintenance at the house, but you can't have one without the other.

I've got a few miles on my bike and I have never had any leaking at all that would leave a spot, ever. I have the original sensor that seeps, but I want to leave well enough alone. Maybe I can get that replaced before my warranty runs out.

Good luck with your dealings with Polaris... they'll tell you that this "is normal" for this bike and that you must have done the break in incorrectly. LOL

I think you have Polaris confused with another brand.

Taking the bike to the dealer in the morning. They say they can fix it.......but they have never taken the motor out of a vision. I have a service manual, and the whole bike basically has to be disassembled. Im not getting a warm fuzzy on this one. Its like buying a new car and then taking it back a week later and have them take it apart and put it back together again. It will never be the same again. I will probably have more leaking than the rear cylinder when i get it back.

think positive thoughts. Yes, you bike will be split in two to do the engine work.

i dont think the whole bike has to come apart. because there is not Sub frame. the motor "should" just drop out with out a super amount of effort. and from my dealers with polaris in the past, the dealer can call polaris directly and get the help they need...

the engine is the center support member, no choice but to split the bike.

Yes, if you do it by the book you split the bike in two. But, I was in Arlen Ness's shop in Las Vegas last week and saw a Vision without an engine that was in all respects whole. I think they developed a brace to hold it together while the engine is gone.

Well, i got it to the dealer on thursday, no loaner bike, i guess that was to be expected. On Saturday i gave them a call, and they have not touched yet. I guess my new bike is not a priority.

Pretty distressing considering we're into a prime riding season, at least here in the south. Don't know where you are. But since you can't ride your Vision, I hope you're "riding" that dealership owner/manager telling him what you think his priority ought to be.

Well, here is another update! Now the dealer says my bike is such a priority that they are clearing the service department of other small projects first, so they can focus primarily on my bike! WOW i feel special........now its been two weeks and i dont think the seats even off of it yet. Oh yeah...my first payments due!

Last time I got that line was from a very well recommended independent with a long history of doing excellent work, which must be why he had my old VENTURE ROYALE there from February until September, it took a filing with the Attorney Generals Office and calls to the BBB to finally 'motivate' him, he's since been run out of business and had his KAWASAKI dealership franchise pulled-

No "Lemon Law" where you are. If there is, I would certainly inquire. I would think that a bike that has been in the shop more than on the road would qualify for a new replacement. A call to your State Attorney's Office certainly wouldn't hurt the effort to get wheels between your legs.

If you can afford it have them put cam's in now. Vic will being half the bill any how so you will only have to pay for the front tobe installed.
It would be a great price on your part.
