I have determined the the Vision side bags get bigger on their own as the bike ages.

When I first got my Vision I could comfortably fit $35. worth of groceries in one side bag. Today I was able to get $55, worth of groceries, $19. worth of hardware from Lowes, and still had room to spare.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure the gas tank is growing too.

You got that right....I saw average size watermelons today at Hillers, a local Michigan grocery chain, for $7.95 each....KIss my WHAT???? Also agree with the gas tank...$122 bucks last month just for local riding around on Vision.......Whoever says we do not have current inflation must live under a rock...Bought a 7oz. can of Plexas at dealer in 2009 for $8.95 same can today was $19.95....What a rip-off!!!

I've been mailing stuff alot. Mailed my clothes home last year so I didn't have to pay $23 to check a bag on the airplane and than wait 40 minutes for the luggage to come off the plane. Same went for our motorcycle trip to the Fire and Iron state rally in Panama City. Shipped the clothes back so I had room in the trunk for the trophy the Vision won in the bike show.

...I guess we won't have to worry about it, after four years of a good run, Victory is dropping the Vision. Expectation is that they will continue the Cross bikes to compete with the Harleys and the Wingers.

With Indian onboard now, the focus is engineering in that direction for a premium high-end bike. I just hope there will still be a pre-ABS Vision available in a few years I can snatch a good deal on when I wear out my '08. Thanks Victory for a good run and a great bike!

Every year around this time, a couple of people claim that the Vision will cease to exist. Every year their predictions don't come true. I suppose one of these years they will be right. Only way they will discontinue will be if they come up with a better design that fills the bill for an ass kicking long distance touring bike
