I had the trunk off for a week or so. I like it, but not as much as the convenience of have the trunk space.
While I was putting everything back I figured I'd get a photo of the mini compressor stowed in the trunk. There was a thread about it, but I didn' have time to search for it.

I put a new front tire on yesterday with ride-on. Tire is not scuffed in yet so I didn't go crazy. Rode smooth as silk. I'm doing a ride next week from Florida to Shanksville PA, than to NYC for 9/11. Then up to Cape Cod. There will be 4 of us at the start, but picking up members of other chapers along the way. I't will be nice to have if somebody gets a flat.

You have to remove the valve core first. You can buy a valve core removal tool. Probably costs a buck or two and you just slip it in the valve stem over the valve core. Then it's jus a matter of Lefty Loosey, Righty Tighty.

They used to sell stem caps that had the slotted removal tool, but I've not seen them in a while.

when i removed the valve core the beads still wouldnt go down.. then someone told me (i dont understand) that some valves cant allow items to go through it. is that true?

I have had my Vision since Dec '09 and have been jonesing to ride it with the convertible top down too (trunk off). I finally had a good chance recently since my wife was unable to ride for a few weeks. I had it off for about 3 weeks. It felt like a new bike, I did enjoy having it off but ALSO missed the convenience of the trunk space. I use the trunk for my computer when commuting to/fro work. It would fit in the side bag but it was tight and then I had no room for my safety shoes when visiting a factory.

The wifey is now recovered from her recent surgery, so the Queen's throne is back in place.

They say give it a quick shot of air or take a paper clip and give it a poke. Put the valve stem  at 7 o clock helps or front wheel at 5 o clock

The tool looks like this and like he said is less than 2 bucks.

I put the dyna beads in my front tire myself last time through the valve stem. Major PITA. It was like the tire kept building up a little pressure, even with the core out. I'd get a little in than remove the intalllation tube and let that 1 or 2 PSI out that was preventing them from going in. Than I started getting impatient and trying to pour them in too fast and they would bunch up. I finally got most of them in. Here is the link to the installation guide on their site. They suggest to use a "vibration took" AKA an engraver and you can even get them in a 90 degree valve stem. Good luck.

+1 on using an engraver or multi-purpose tool to shake the beads in.

When you order a Ride On kit it comes with a valve core removal tool, (AKA valve cap with a notch at the top to unscrew the valve core,) a short piece of clear tubing and an instruction kit with various tire sizes to calculate the amount you will need. Since I took the weights off the rims by their instructions you will need an extra 25% more product to help balance the tire. It took 2 and 1/3 bottles to do my vision and I rides smooth as glass. Having had a rear flat this was a welcomed product. J&P Cycles sells this at about $15 per bottle. I have also put this in my wife's Suzuki Bergman 650 and it has run fine. Good stuff, when I replace my tires next year I will add this product again.

Had Ride On put in, and Doran 360M TPMS with internal sensors and 90deg metal valve stems installed, when dealer installed new front and rear tires on my wife's Vegas Low - about 4,000 miles ago. We took a trip up through OK, MO, AR - riding in the Ozarks - over the Labor Day weekend. Had a great time - fun riding in the twisties. On our way home, about an hour from the house, her Doran bright red light came on - and the display showed that she only had 4psi in her rear tire. Luckily, we were going up a long incline on a road with a wide shoulder, so we pulled over to inspect. There was a hole puncture almost perfectly in the center of the tire tread area - supposedly, the "perfect" spot for the Ride On to "do it's thing" and seal the puncture. Nope - didn't work AT ALL... Sprayed a creamy goo all over the inner fender, cruise control box, rear blinker assembly, etc - but RAPIDLY let all of the air escape from the tire. Luckily, she was traveling in a straight line when it happened, it happened very quickly, and she only had to veer onto the shoulder to stop. Therefore, the tire bead was still sealed against the wheel. I put a plug in the tire, used my compressor to inflate, and we were back on the road within 15 minutes. When we got home, we saw that the plug was slowly leaking (I did not use any rubber cement when I installed the plug) - in other words, the Ride On stuff still was not able to seal even a slow leak in the middle of the tire tread. I had her park the bike so that the plug was against the concrete - hoping that maybe the Ride On would eventually seal overnight. Yesterday, the tire was still holding the same psi of air, so she rode it back to the dealer to get fixed. They installed a plug-patch and refilled with more Ride On - cost $66, but we will get reimbursed $50 from the Ride On Road Service membership that was included. The Ride On does seem to do a great job of dynamically balancing the tires. But it did not work for sealing a tire puncture...  The mechanic said that he's seen lots of flats that this stuff did not fix as advertised.
