| Whoo who momma went for her first Vision ride yesterday. She been wanting to ride (on the back) since I got the bike, but has been holding off until WE were sure I had this bike riding thing in check. Yesterday we plugged in the intercom system put helmets on and found the darn Vision has voice-activated mics. Darn cool it is not pushing buttons to talk. I loaded momma on the back (she was nervous) noted that the bike set down some and AWAY WE WENT! First stop, gas station for some air for the air shocks. Didn't think of it when I was at home. I had 20 pounds in the shocks so we added some and set it at 58 pounds. Sure rode better and it got my back end back up. Momma (nice wife) was a bit concerned when we made our first few turns in town, however she soon relaxed figuring out we weren't going to flop. Soon we were cruising the country roads laying into the corners and she loved it. First thing I noticed I couldn't really tell she was on the back. No top heavy feeling that I was expecting and no rocking because of the cross winds. Heck I had to ask her a few times if she fell off!? Another thing, I would never ride without the intercom. It‘s just darn nice to chat about what we see and not have to be jabbed in the ribs when she needs a pee break. When dinnertime came around we stopped at a nice restaurant that was across from a bar that I later learned was a favorite hangout for bikers. Was told several came out and checked out the bike while we were eating. Later when we left I noticed about 6 guys standing in the doorway watching us roar down the street. Let me add since some posters on this forum are new. The Victory Vision is the first bike I have been on in about 20 years. My last bike was a 750 Honda. Nice wife use to love riding on the back of that bike. Sold that one when kids and business work stole most of our time. It's so frinkin nice to go riding with the nice wife. I was so happy that things went so well and that she loved it! Bike rides like there's no one on the back (I can notice a little bit of a load when accelerating.) The intercom was a great idea, and it's nice to be able to switch to either the CB or intercom or BOTH. Voice activation is the cats meow! It overriding the music is cool too. Chatting with ‘nice wife' while cruising is the way to go. Made for a great day yesterday. Made for an even better evening when we got home…..
