Has anyone tried the Bridgestone Exedra Radial Touring Tires - Front G709 / Rear G704?

Yes. I like them. They do not, however, like to be run at 40F 42R pressures like the E3s do. If you do that, they will feel "twitchy" and want to fall into turns. Running them at the recommended 38F 40R is much better. They handle at least as good as the Dunlops, maybe better. The ride is good. They do not "sing" in the turns like the Dunlops. So far, the tire life seems to be as good as the Dunlops, but I've not run them out yet.

They are OEM on the GL1800s now.

I ran the 709 on frt, 38psi like Ronnie, for 8K + miles and probably had at least that many left on it before changing it out to another tire.
Didn't notice anything unusual. Works good. I have not ran the 704 Rear

Muchas gracias, Senor. I forgot all about Directline Parts, since I traded my VTX in. Sometimes it is good to have tires that match the Goldwings.

I'm running them on my Vision now. Same review as above. No singing after 6k miles, silky smooth ride, tons of grip, great wet weather. All around awesome tire. I put them on my Wing and loved them there too. I happen to like the snappier turn in so I run 39/41 in mine or roughly there a bouts. Bike handles like a dream and rides even better than the E3's in my opinion. I will admit I've never been a Dunlop fan though. I have Stones on both bikes, G' series on the Vision and the new S20R'S on my ZX14 and I love them there as well!

Cripes. All I can ask is WHY?

53 years of riding - and NEVER felt the need to try some other tire. And NO ONE passes me that I don't want to. Some of you folks just have too much time on your hands - find a beautiful woman - she will whip that curiosity about tires right out of you ...

I've thought about but I just can't bring myself to run car tires. I have several friends that do and love them so I can't say anything bad about it. Just not for me.

The Bridgestone Exedra's the poster is asking about are motorcycle tires, not car tires

You're right, I guess I should learn to read.

I switched because I was getting mighty tired of the Dunlops howling and whining and destroying a relationship. Kind of like my first wife. Second wife is a keeper and so are the Bridgestones on my Vision.
