Do You notice any difference in handling with the 21 inch front vs the 18 in stocker??

There is a difference in the way way the bike handles, IMO the bike is more agile and responsive, not a huge difference but you will notice it.

Does the heel shifter limit the foot positions? I considered one of those, but I really like that I have multiple positions while touring.

Shane, I too have been interested in changing my front wheel to the 21" format however, I had some trepidation regarding the handling issues that have been mentioned in previous posts. You related that to you the bike was more agile and responsive. In my mind, that means that it stears or falls into turns quicker and under control without any flop. Does it allow you to stear and direct the front end easier without fighting the bikes weight in slow speed parking lot maneuvers, is it stable and does it hold its line at speed in turns. Speaking of speed, when you travel the slabtop above 70mph is there any wobble. I love the custom appearance but do not wish to destroy its touring capabilities.

Great look Shane. Do you have any full length shots? I'd like to see the overall apperance.

Looks like they trimmed the rear portion of the front fender to make the new wheel, correct?
What size tire did they mount?

Shane, Do you have the modification instructions for the heel toe shifter. There was a link in an old thread but it is no longer working. There is also a link to a site where the parts cam be purchased at a discount at the top in Links, I'll paste it in below. It is actually a Kingpin shifter with some slight mods right?

I also had the KingPin heel-toe shifter installed on my Vis but it limited my foot positions so badly that I removed the rear peg completely. I wear a size 15 shoe/boot & find that up-shifting by just stepping on the shifter shaft works just fine IMHO.

We did a 700 mile trip over Labor Day weekend & had no problems with it.

I love the way the wheel looks. i have two questions. 1) what kind of rotors are they? and 2) how hard it is to find replacement tires for that size of wheel?

Looks very cool, I went with the ness brake and shifter pegs they are about an inch an a half longer than the stock rubber
ones, very easy to grab a gear. The wheels are a nice touch!

Jim, I had my dealer order one from Victory & had them install it, as I tried myself but couldn't get it aligned properly.

As I said, I removed the rear peg from it because it SEVERELY limited my boot position and I like to move my feet around on a long trip.

I'm also having some "foot positioning" issues since I installed the lower wind deflectors. Will probably have the bottom part of the lowers cut off to allow more room for my big feet.
