It is P n P. Small harness taps into running lights on trunk.

Do all you guys have '12 Visions? The first link posted said this only fits 2012 models.

Nah... it's a new item for 2012, but appears to fit (with minor gap issues due to light strip - per previous reviews) all years at least so far.

Got mine installed and took it for a ride tonight! This is a pretty cool accessory and adds some inexpensive Bling to the back of my bike. Lots of positive comments from passersby. I have ordered two additional Wizard led pods. These are the kind that change colors with the press of a key fob. Have them on my e fine compartment. I will mount to back of housing on the Victory letters so that they will change color and fade in and out with lights on engine. I may also run some wire back so I can switch on and off the normal red LEDs for highway use. Another winter project to get this new accessory multiple colored. What a hobby!

Purchase from Dealer (2012 catalog), Direct from Polaris via web link - see 1st posting of this thread, or Ebay.... your choice.

Concerning making this a brake light too, do you think that running a wire from the pink/white brake light wire up to this light and just tapping in would make it a brake light as well? Similiar to Songfan's 99 LED Trunk Brake Light Install. Or if you had already installed Songfan's 99 LED, could you just run a jumper wire over to the 99 LED wire and tap into it there? Is it possible? Any flaws in this theory?

Funny. About 6 months ago I was talking to a friend of mine and we were debating the best way to cut out the "victory" and replace it either with clear epoxy or plexyglass so I could light it up. And now, it's all done in (IMO) a pretty inexpensive package.

I'm thinking use it as a running light, keep the 99 LED as brake light, and I've already turned the trunk lights into turn signals. And then I think I'll be all set and visible up top.

What do you have to disassemble to install it (the illuminated Victory trunk bar)? I did the 99 LED mod around the back lip of the top trunk and would hate to have to remove it; to install this new illuminated Victory logo...

I had it installed today- many fitment issues, took about 75 minutes.

I think it looks great on the back, can't wait to see it at night.

I ordered mine 2 weeks ago (they didn't know about it in the UK so guess I have the first one) and fitted it just now. Like you I have the 99LED system as well. If you follow the Victory instructions you will have to disconnect the LEDs first. But there is no need to, remove the side lights either side of the chrome victory sign, remove the trunk inner lid making sure you have propped up the lid itself as you will disconnect the wire that stops it opening too far. the passenger back rest also comes off and the black plastic either side of the lights. Drill the hole where the instructions say. Once this is done its all plug and play then rebuild, really shouldn't take 45 mins but allow 1 hour to be careful.

Looks great with the 99LED and I prefer it as a running light.

Hey guys, this works great! Worth the money! I rewired the trunk to allow me to use it as a third break light. It fits my '08 Vision with no fitment issues.

I like adding anything to make myself more visible, and have to agree that too many running lights may detract from the stop/turn lights. I also would like to know if anyone has successfully implimented this as brake light. I think ideally, it would be a running light, and flash brighter for brakeing. Any thoughts or successes on this? Do existing run/turn/brake controllers handle this?
