Hey Gang:

My Vision is almost 1 yr old. What is the best way to get an Extended Warranty? Who has gotten one & what are the prices?

Thanks
Dave

I guess the best way would be to trade up to an 09, its free that way, kinda sucks for us, its about $800 for the 5 year

The extended warranty only covers mechanical breakdown, so just be aware of what you are paying for.

If my radio went out, and my Polaris warranty didn't cover it, I would shout on the internet so loud, nobody would buy a Victory, or at least a Vicory warranty again. I'd hit every board on the internet with backup.

Its not specified in the pamphlet, but I think it was printed before Victory had a bike with a radio. From what I gathered, victory knows early production bikes may develop radio issues. I dont know if it was a factor. The reason I got their warranty was for the electronics. If it wasnt covered I would have asked for a refund. They do have a number on the back you can call to verify coverage of a particular item.

Yeah my vic mechanic even advised me to buy the extended warranty just to cover the electronics. He said that since this is vic's first atttampt at so much electronics for this bike that there is bound to be issues and said if it was me I would buy it just to ease the mind. He said there is bound to be some issues at some point with some visions not all.

Sorry guys didn't mean to make anyones hair go up. I did some phoning and went through the warranty and it basically boils down to mechanical component and electrical component failures. So if your windshield motor went or the oil sender, both would be covered. However if your windshield cracked or the headlight, or a panel, not covered. If you look on the warranty form you received at purchase you'll see a list of exclusions. HOPE this clears things up....... T
