Bayonne, NJ | Hey guys,
what is the best what to remove the inner swoosh?
im try to remove with out any other panels being removed, dont know if there is an easy way to get to the bolts.

Rockford, IL | Don't think I've heard of anyone managing to remove it without removing the complete fairing....which is a time consuming PITA !! |

down load the tech manual and see what the book says. I've not got there yet so I can't give you any advice, though I think the guy from Rockford speaks of some experience.
(did I make any mistakes???, just axen)

Edmonton, AB Canada | On page 22 of section 3 of the service manual, it shows that there are 4 bolts that hold these on. You can feel the first one near the seat. You can see the third one from the front of the bike behind the front wheel. The bottom one you could probably feel as well if you lay down under the bike or had it on a lift. The second one (from the seat) seems to be back in near the gas tank. I have smallish hands with long fingers, and I can't feel it or even come close to seeing it. So, I would say good luck with that one.
The manual is not very clear on how you actually remove the entire assembly, but once you start pulling things off it should become very apparent.

Iowa | I took mine off with some other pieces for painting, and the Vision is kinda like a puzzle. You have to remove pieces from the top down to get to the inner side fairing pieces. It'll take an hour or two based on your level of skill and the number of beers you drink. But you will get to know your Vision pretty well by the end of it.

Rockford, IL | V92SC - 2011-07-14 7:01 AM Excuse my ignorance, but what part is called the "swoosh" anyway? The light gray colored metal piece that kinda "surrounds" the front of the motor, attaches to the plastic fairing, the Victory badges are attached to it. Looks similar to a Nike "swoosh".

| Just start un bolting. You have to take the mirrors off then then the turn signals and then just keep going. Lie on the floor un do the black plastick panel on the bottom of the bike then the bolt that hold the outer plastic body panel.
Take photos as you go it will help some day
