JB Hatch was working on one for the Vision.

You can also buy them from the usual Goldwing vendors.

Have one from my wing, but tongue is too short for the vision.

Could you have a welding shop extend it?

I have one from PakIt Rak on my 2008 VV.  It uses a Nelson Rig bag.

I added lights higher up to make sure the bag does not obscure brake and tail lights.

BTW, the adapter was made for a HitchDoc hitch.  This is their standard product with a receiver bracket specifically made for the Vision and the HitchDoc hitch.

The Nelson Rig bag has a reflective water/dirt resist cover that goes over the bag.  It also has heat resistant patches on the front corners to protect it from the exhaust.

This is a much better solution than trying to put heavy items on top of the tour pack.  It is illegal to pull trailers with a motorcycle in some states.  This solution gets around those laws.

The weight is kept low and out of the wind.

I have a hard time seeing it in the rear view mirrors when riding.  My riding buddies like to tease me over the CB by telling me it fell off.  So far, it has not.

what states is it illegal to pull a trailer with a motorcycle? I have a hitch rack that I made, used it a few times, I am thinking about mounting a hard trunk on it, just to keep thing nice neat. I will post pics if I can find them.

I'm using one I found on a Wing site, but I found that cargo would get soiled by the exhaust. To avoid that I made a deflector which remains attached to the rack. Very simple using dryer vents from Lowes.

With an adapter for a Hitchdoc hitch you can attach any off-the-shelf hitch-mounted item you want.

I came up with the concept. This guy bent and welded it for me. I dont see why he wouldn't make more.

It is LEGAL in California. 55 MPH max, right or right 2 lanes if 3 or more. No fast lane or HOV/Carpool Lanes.
