That's good stuff. I'm Glad to see that HP/Torque peaks at only 3900 RPM with this set up. So tell me how noticible this is on the street. Do you have more than enough power? Have you hit another bottle-neck like clutch or traction problems yet?

Enough Power? Hell yeah! On the street she is amazing. Roll on at 2,200 RPM in 4th or 5th. No need to downshift.
Lloyd fine tuned it yesterday, rained like hell so could not really get in to. Finally able to hit 6th on a long straight away coming home.
That gear is now reserved for highway traveling only.
Clutch seems strong enough. She came a little loose on Thursday from take off a couple of times without getting on it.
Probably road conditions. The last thing Lloyd asked was if the front end has been of the ground yet. Not yet but she is more than capable of that.
Being the Guinea Pig, they had lots of unknowns. I am sure as his learning curve goes up, so will HP for future upgrades.

She is really starting to loosen up now. Couldn't imagine she could be any better than a couple of days ago, but boy was I wrong.

Is this the S&S big-bore it with the variable pressure clutch kit?  Lloydz Stage 2 CAMs?

Please detail the various mods?

Does it run any rougher, more or less vibrations?  More engine heat, higher oil temps?

Thanks,

Tim

It was a Lloyds kit. Just pistons and jugs with reworked VFCIII.
Went back to stock, having some fuel delivery issues. Once the bugs are worked out, I will be in line to go back to it.
As for your questions,
Clutch, kept stock, ran great.
Kept the Lloyds cams I had installed with his Vision upgrade.
No more vibration, heat or oil temp.
Thing was a beast, from takeoff it was a little stronger than a Vision with Lloyds cams, VFC and intake plate.
At roll on, was no contest. Left Laconia with a group of Victorys. Following 2 Visions, one with full Vision upgrade and
one with VFC, intake plate and a special map from Lloyd.
They were side by side and would let the others go ahead and then do 4th and 5th gear roll ons.
I would match what gear they were in and would have to let off dam quick because I was going to run them over in a flash.
You could feel the power of this thing. When running in my driveway, you could feel it inside the house.

Thanks for the detailed information.  Sounds like a giant step forwards.

I am still waiting to get the Stage 2 CAMS installed.

TimS, huge step, but not quite there. Should be soon. Get the cams, they are amazing.

Wil, I saw the picture. He took it at the Victory Party in Daytona.

KevinX is supposed to be coming out our way for a CAM Install Party.  Hopefully we can nail down the dates and get them installed.  Everyone has reported good results with them.

Keep us posted on the 110 kit progress.  (120+/120+) at the rear wheel is fantastic.

#57,

Do you have any updates on the 110 kit?  Any long term observations/issues?

Thanks,

Tim

S&S has a 114" kit, I may try that in the future.
Will wait until they have all the bugs worked out first.
Ness Vegas seems to be the ones to ask about that kit, they have done more than any one else.

I'm from Maine also. Are you traveling to Lloyds to get this done or doing it locally??
