Note - before I get into my labor of love (oh nevermind, that's another story).

2nd Note - If you have to have your front tire replaced or removed for any reason, give a call to your dealer and make sure they have the 16mm Allen wrench to remove the front axle. My dealer didn't have one and had to file a 17mm to be able to change it. Apparently it is an odd size and not normally carried by most of the tool suppliers, they wound up calling Matco, Snapon, their other tool supplier and then started thumbing through the yellow pages and calling friends. Must be pretty rare. It is also apparently different than the other Victory Bikes axle bolts.

So, just check or carry your own, it will save a few hours.

An FYI... Use a 5/8 Allen Wrench
5/8 = .625
16 MM = .629
Not enough to make a difference.

Another FYI...
To convert
MM to Inch: MM x .03937 = Inch ex.16mm x .03937=.6299
Inch to MM: Inch x 25.4 = MM ex. .625 x 25.4 =15.875mm
Fraction to decimal: Divide the top number by the bottom number ex 5/8; 5 divided by 8=.625
