After looking at the 15th anniversary bike I felt Ma Vic really, really missed the mark. I find myslef wondering what everyone else thinks.

You can view it here......

http://www.ridermagazine.com/latest-news/victory-unveils-15th-anniv...

For me it's not much more than a CCT with normal options and a 15th Anniversary sticker. Whoopee. No upgraded engine. No better exhaust. No wild paint job, just an old theme revisited. The Cory Ness is much hotter and cheaper.

Here's the highlights...... ain't nothin' special from my view.
- Special Paint Scheme
- Custom Seat
-Billet Wheels
- Numbered Dash Badge
- Red Lettered Cam Badge and Primary Cover
- Removable Saddlebag and Trunk Liners
- Garmin GPS
- XM Radio
- Kicker Speakers
- Tinted Wind Screen
- iPod/iPhone Cable
- ABS
- Cruise Control
- Adjustable Passenger Floorboards

Only 150 of this model will be produced and the price is $30,000.

Really what else can you do with a motorcycle besides paint and bling unless you design a bike from the ground up? $30K is a bit steep but they will sell. They are sticking to the one who brought them to the dance.

Maybe next year they will enter into another market segment like dual sport or sport touring. You just never know.

I think they hit it right, although 30 stacks is a bit much to me , but for those wanting to be mmbers of a closed membership club I say go for it. We VV owners/riders quickly for get that just 5yrs. ago Maw Vic gave us the 10th anniversary VV decked out in crimson and black and all the bling and options in the 09 wish book. If you remember they were all sold within minutes of their release at 28 stacks a copy. At that time the company marque product was the VV fast foward 5yrs latter and violla the CC tour with the same treatment right down to the paint scheme. I know members here are going to be bias, but I bet over to the dedicated CC and X sites their as excited over this anni verson as we were in 09 and I don,t foresee Maw Vic having any trouble seeing all 150 although not as fast as the 10th anni sold. Still it is a great looking anni model even though I'm not a big X bike fan.

I wonder if these will go up on a lottery deal like the tenth anniversary did. I also wonder if they would all be sold in minutes like the tenth anniversary visions did.

Hi all from Australia . I would bet we will never see any of them here in OZ .Victory have got it correct once again . They have been pumping out new models , and keeping things fresh and exciting . The Boardwalk is just about to hit the dealers here Part of their future is to maintain links with their past , so I like the 15th paint job .But rest assured they are very focused on the future . They have upspeced the bike considerably , and I love the badging . If I had not just bought a new 2012 Arlen Ness Vision , I would be asking Victory Australia to push for an Anniversary bike to be shipped DOWN UNDER .CHEERS and ride safe MartyQ

I'd rather buy a Ness Cross bike for that kind of money.

People who buy these will be collectors and they are not interested in the price but what they could get for it at auctions in the future.

I agree with most...This thing will be purchased, for the most part, by collectors and those that ride a couple times a year, park it where all can see and then ride or trailer it home.....Those with "big bucks" will have the bike sold out in a few hours......I'm sticking with my 2011 Vision.......

Based on the 10th Anniversary Vision and now the 15th Anniversary XC, I suspect the 20th Anniversary bike will have all the bling and the same paint scheme...where's the originality that puts Victory apart from the rest?

No difference in comparison to anniversary models from HD and Honda. You can't expect a whole new design for an anniversary bike, paint and other shiny bits is typical. I like it alot, but $30k is way out of my budget.

The funny thing is the 10th anniversary Vision is more bike, had the reverse option package included, heated grips, heated seats, power windshield, upgraded exhaust. All things that this bike is lacking and I believe that bike went for just under 28K 5 years ago. It doesn't matter to me what they chose to promote. I hope it builds the strength of the company as a whole and they remain viable in the industry. But for the riding I do, the Vision is the right bike for me.

$30k is is getting pretty steep and I didn't see spending that kinda of bling on a Harley and I don't see spending that on a Vic either.

I like the CCT and would consider it if I didn't already own a Vision. That being said, I think they could have done more. Add some extra's considering the $30,000 price tag. How about expanding the line up to include the other models as well. They have the parts and paint in the parts bin.

I don't think 30K is out of line with what they should have done but it is out of line with what they did do. This bike is basically a copy (different model) from what they did 5 years ago. It is a nice bike but nothing to get too excited about.

I don't think this bike will get treated as a trailer queen the way collectible cars do, nor do the 10th Anniversary Victory Visions. 10th Vision owners are riding them. Gregor Moe has ridden several Iron Butts on his 10th Vision, including 49 States in 10 days last summer. There isn't enough potential value appreciation to treat these like investments. Just ride.

I like it and would consider trading my 10th Anny with 50,000+ miles on one. Oops, did someone say Anny bikes are only for collecting?
The Red and White Ness bike is nice looking too but I don't need external speakers in my saddlebags...
