Scorebo, those are cool. That is exactly what I want, only I want a chrome fin on them also. If we could get heat shields with a small fine starting about 10" from the end of the heat shield and then a bullet tip with a continued fin, oh that would be so cooool! Now I know someone could do that. Maybe canter the fin out a little, like a wing, wouldn't that be something.

STOP AND READ THIS SAVE YOURSELF THE WASTE OF TIME AND ANGER Guys, I spent 3 months trying to work with the guys at Tailgunner to get the jet tips for my Vision. It was a total waste of time, they arent interested in helping you, its like pulling teeth trying to get spec info from them, and their general disinterest annoyed the hell out of me. I then enlisted the help of a 3rd party who know exhausts much better then I did. Even he said Tailgunners rep was a jackass. Bottom line, once we FINALLY got the dimensions and specs we determined that the jet tips could not be fitted on the OEm exhausts on the Vision. The diameters would not gel and Tailgunner was NOT INTEREStED in making a retro kit for the Vision. The ONLY alternative you have if you really want these tips is to buy a complete new exhaust system and change out the whole unit. Once I priced out the cost for the system, plus the labor to deinstall/reinstall the units, it just wasnt worth it. Trust me, if it had been a more pleasant experience, you all would have seen the pics of them on my bike 3 months ago. I dont think i would ever want to work with Tailgunner or their people anymore after that kind of treatment.

Thanks for the info and it figures. I saw the Gatlin tips up close on a bike in Daytona and they are a quality piece.

I like them. How are they mounted and will you make some to sell? If so I am interested.

Thanks.

I mounted them with the stock bolts, and just modified the original tips. They are all stainless, and now, after my 1200 mile weekend last weekend to Montana, they are getting a nice bronze sheen. I wasn't thinking of making them to sell, but my Dad saw them, and now wants some for his Goldwing! I have gotten many positive comments on the road, as well as here. Not sure if I wanna start making them to sell as yet.
