Northwest, Nevada | I have an 08 Tour Premium. I am having problems with the tail lights, only with the middle section(running lights I guess), not the brake light or turn signals. Tail lights short (off and on) while I am going down the road. Doesn't bother me, I can't see it, my buddy told me about it the other day.
Where do I need to start to look?

Wichita, Kansas | The middle tail lights on the Vision are unique. They turn off during turn signal use. There are 2 relays controlling all this. They are under the seat, right side rear. Check the nearby connector and the relay engagement in the socket. My advice (I'm prejudiced though) would be to go to technical discussion form and read the post by KansasGuardsman about about disabling this feature. It explains the circuit and if you want to stop the problem (feature?) it has instructions for that, too. Down load a copy of the maintenance manual also - it has wiring diagrams. Just search for "maintenance manual" and that should pop up the link in one of the threads. |
