For the record boys I spend 750,000.00 annually on marketing for our company. Bi monthly we do bulk mails that with a simple keystroke are directed precisely to the home that the incentive is meant for. We do not mail a discount coupon to buy an item to a household that just bought one from us 2 weeks ago. As for BlueOx, dude it doesnt take a degree or rocket science to do what the industry calls "clean marketing". Common sense is usually 95% of it. As for you guys who make such rediculous comments like
"put your money where your mouth is" IF I DIDNT ALREADY OWN A COMPANY OF MY OWN and was looking for a marketing job, then
PERHAPS i might contact them. However you are missing the point. If you dont understand that you have a problem, you arent going to look to someone to come in and fix it. This was originally titled by me appropriately "Just venting outloud", and thats what the majority of you have done. For the rest of you, dont confuse open topic open discussion and opinion as "complaining".
If each of us didnt like our bikes, we wouldnt be here and have such strong opinions about that which represents them. Thank god we have whats left of a free country !! rock on ride on and floss those bugs out of your teeth before bed. !!

I took business in college. There so many people here that know all about marketing and what's the best thing to do. How many have applied for a marketing job at Victory? rofl........ Since they all know the best way to do marketing their resume should get them right in the door and Victory would get rid of who they got? But then they would have to do something besides criticize someone else. What's the old saying? "Put your money where your mouth is?"

I've said this before on another thread...(hard to believe this topic hit a nerve NOT)...if you think that the Senior/Executive Management is not aware of their clients opinion of Polaris/Victory's customer support...customer appreciation...you're dilusional.

These are NOT some dark suits that sit in some ivory tower guiding a slow moving battleship out of touch with what we their loyal customers think...(that would be polititians)...the people to start the change are these people, they exist...so unless you get them to talk to you, email you and explain their definition of customer support & appreciation...we are just venting...or rather blowing in the wind.

Thought this might make your day and add a little joy to this thread:

When I bought the STARSHIP last April I also purchased an extended warranty, well guess what dropped in the snailmail box today?

A letter from Polaris telling me that my one year factory warranty will expire soon and they would be oh so happy to sell me an extended warranty plan.

With that correspondence, all of the emails and snailmails from Victory/Polaris telling me I should take a demo ride and purchase a 2009 Vision which NOW comes with a five year warranty I'm starting to ask myself if Victory/Polaris even knows that I bought a Vision last year....of course I could contact corporate and I'm sure they would straighten out the mere oversight on their part.

Frustrating to be the little guy when you don't really think your the little guy. I have visited with Victory folks at the test rides, and have actually talked to a Victory engineer, they seemed to listen. Last year I did attend the American Victory Rally at Spirit Lake. I recommend it to all Victory riders, if they can make the trip. I and several others attended focus group discussions, I thought that was good and they listened. I too get the e-mails and flyers you all are getting, I just delete or throw away. I'm pretty sure they monitor websites like Vision-Riders, so your words I'm pretty sure are heard, both the good and the bad. The one thing I got out of going and seeing the people who built my Vision was that I firmly believe they want to build and sell a great motorcycle and make their customers happy. Take care

Look at the bright side. If Victory is offering a free 5 yr. warranty it is only because they have great faith in the quality of their bikes and don't think it will cost them much. HD would go broke if they made that offer!
