well ? first off, believe little of what you find on this subject, sonny, sarrah and noel were there. the police post most information on the subject , still trying to convince sonny that Noel was an informant, so ? I am not taking up for sonny for hitting Noel, except that I know her, she tested me constantly, sorry Noel, and I am sorry sarrah, but I came close to killing your mother but would never hit her. that said, sonny, I am sure was under extreme duress, the media and police were doing everything they could to convince him she was an confidential informant. so when it all happened he was in that frame of mind, cops want you to believe he beats women and children, but everybody has a snapping point, he snapped, sarrah was protecting her mother, instinct from what I understand , sonny phoned 911 , identified himself and that he had just kicked his wife and she was injured. the police jeapordized Noel's and sarrah's life spreading rumors that she was wired as an informant, the police ALWAYS claim NO responsibility, but I see it different. sonny offered no resistance and admitted what he did and was arrested for it, the police smear him for what he did, yes it was wrong, but under the situation I think he needs to be understood and that he did not deny it or fight it . he made a mistake, Noel was under a lot of strees as well, as the wife of sonny barger, the media and cops were spreading rumors she was an informant, think about that one ? so anyway, when you hear someone commenting what a terrible person he or she is, don't Judge them till you have walked in their shoes. I have respect for all 3 involved. the police though put little or no value on Noel nor sarrah spreading rumors. there is more to the story but every man and wife argue and it is between sonny and noel. the police murdered my brother, covered it up, and came after me in revenge for exposing it. they all are not the " good guy "

max, As the original poster on this one, the point of the subject was, at that time there were other post on harleys, that your comment would well be directed at.  The point of this post is that Victory is finding favor among the traditional harley crowd.

Sorry Chris, I'm just tired of all the threads that include the word Harley. I really don't care what the "harley crowd" is doing or not doing. And I don't care what the GW, BMW, Yami, Kawi, Honda, Ducati, Suzuki crowds do either. I ride a Victory. This is a Victory Board. Das all Folks!!

Texass
This is my first post, but I've been watching this site for over a year now, getting ready to buy another bike. I have a Harley, BMW, and a Goldwing. I really like what I hear and see about the Victory line, however, I'm not sure I would want to mingle with some of the bike bashers and whiners I read about on this site. I ride with different groups of riders and bikes, and there is never anyone of us saying "my bike is better than yours"!! WTF, it appears that the main reason for owning a Vision is to rack up miles, take pictures of your odometer and bash other riders! I don't understand posters such as "Varyder", you have over 6700 post, what do you do, ride a couple hundred miles, take a picture of your odometer, then post a dozen or so comments, ride again to rack up miles. Not picking on you, just using you as an example of many of the riders on this site who believe racking up miles is more important than the ride itself. I always thought the purpose of riding was to enjoy the ride, the destination, and companionship of your riding buddies. Only time any of us look at the odometer is to keep track of the routine maintenance! Just sayn', sorry if I offended anyone, don't wanna do that, I travel around the country quite a bit, hopefully I'll get to meet one or two of you. Like I said, this is my first post, but most likely my last. Ride safe.

The only reason the other riders do not state that their bikes are better is because none of them ride Victorys the better bike .

Of course it is rude to point that out.

I've been going about this all wrong. I haven't put a single photo of my odometer on this site! Why didn't you guys tell me about that requisite? Crap!

For the record, I ride a Victory because it fits me better than any other bike made. I'm 6'3", weigh 280 lbs, have had several knee surgeries and one minor back operation. I got my Iron Butt on this bike and love it. It's got performance, convenience, the only luxuries I need and looks damn good! I'm also gonna go see the movie, since I don't have time to read books any more. Saw Ghost Rider, and was entertained, saw Air Hogs with my daughters and was mildly amused, there just aren't many biker movies produced in relation to the number of riders imho.

I'm not making a statement of any kind by telling you all this except that I love to ride! And if the unreal roadkill doesn't get a Victory because of it, it's his loss, no skin off my back.

Ride what you ride, and love it! Screw the b.s. Leave that for the poseurs.

I hope the movie is an incredible success so we can get more biker movies made!
