Calgary, AB,
Congrats from me as well Opas. Just turned 60 this year, decided I better hurry up so just bought my new to me '09 Cherry Tour, thinking it will be my last bike. Now, after hearing 73, maybe not.
Keep healthy, and keep riding. I'm a believer that doing LOTS of what one wants to do keeps one young at heart and going strong.

I'm jealous, 50K, 60K and to think I thought I was doing something by reaching 40K today. :-(

You are doing something. I laugh when I hear my other brand buddies brag they just turned 20,000 on their '04, 03, etc and people ooooo over that. Most HDers are selling theirs at 20,000.

If you want to get a fair price for an HD you better sell it in the 20K to 25K mile range. Many HD used buyers want them to have been dealer serviced and have extended warranty too. I had 56K on my 07 Electra Glide when trying to sell it and none of the calls or emails got past the how many miles question. It was the first bike I had traded at a dealer since 1978. Currently Liandra has 12K mi and I bought her the Wed. night before Thanksgiving 2010.

And by the way, I turn 65 tomorrow so I can look forward to many more sMiles (as long as my health holds up). I know Black Cherry will be here long after I'm gone - just hope the next owner appreciates her as much as I do.

Turned 20K just east of Kingman AZ on the way back from the VMC in Presscot. Bike should have more but spent the first 2 years in ND with record snow.

Turned 40k (kilometers) today! SPCSHP is becoming a teenager! Or a 'First Grader' by the Cap's standards. AND I NEVER CHECK THE OIL (for those who give a crap)

Did 1,200km around the Olympic Peninsula Sunday and Monday - bike was 'perfect' as usual. Co-pilot was BETTER than the bike ....

And at 67, I wasn't so bad myself

yes, for "The Don" - clap, clap, bow down, I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy. WOW! I keep telling him to put the athletic one up as his pics, but there must be some ego in the way. Ok, OK, OK, Don you look good too! Is that better?
