Fellow riders... Need your help, I have the CB/Intercom on my 09 premium. I want to remove the trunk which means I would have to remove and relocate the CB/Intercom unit to one of the bags if I want to be able to continue using the helmet speakers for music with system.
So, has anybody done this and do they make some type of wire harness extension?

The harness is long enough for the unit to fit in a saddle bag. If you are not using the CB buy a 50ohm 5 watt dummy load (This will properly load the output of the CB with out an antenna) and connect it to the antenna jack. Then you can run the intercom and audio in the helmet.

If you want the CB to work get a license plate mount antenna.

Not many have done this but it has been done.

Help a "dummy" out regarding the dummy load...  How would I buy this?  Dummy Load for dummies...!

Sounds like it might be easier to get a plate mount antenna...  Got any ideas for the purchase of said antenna?

One came with the CB Radio in the box. I think it is green on the end. It looks like an antenna connector with no cable on it. I will try to find a picture of one.

This was provided so the Vision CB can be used as a Intercom without using the CB. If the CB transmitted without a proper load it could damage the CB transmitter.
