Are the powerlets on a 2008 Vision Tour Premium live even if the bike is off? or do they go off when the key is turned off?

I have found the powerlet in the tank box to operate with the key switch while the trunk powerlet is continuous.

Just what wharf said. The powerlets in the front of the bike (glovebox and, if installed, drilled into radio console) are switched power. Only on when the key is turned to on. The powerlets in the back of the bike (in the trunk and, if installed, drilled below the radio on the trunk) are constant power. On all the time.

If you're trying to use a battery tender, use one of the ones in the back.

You must not have a meter to check it.

If your going to do any thing with power on your bike you better go but a meter be for you burn something up
