I already have Witchdoctor Muscle mufflers (highly recommend). Planning on an air filter (Lloyd's?) and a factory download. Now for the question. What would it hurt to remove the stuff in the head pipes with the above upgrades? I was told by one place this a common mod that they do to lower tempetures by 70%.

I've heard if you gut the cats you loose necessary back pressure & low end torque that you feel while gaining a few HP at the very top end that you rarely if ever need or feel. I don't buy the 70% temp BS-I'd vote to keep 'em
