My bike will go back in for the second new headlite and to have the radio worked on next week. I was having additional radio problems where it wouldn't hold programming. Dealer had a look and decided the radio was bad. Well Victory sent him back some message about diagnosing what "specific" part was causing the radio issue and they would drop ship the parts overnite, but to not order radio's.
So we'll see what this is all about I guess next week after the bike goes in. Read the message and it said something about calling tech support to assist. I kind of chuckled and told him to call the number and ask them which radio component burns up $150 IPods? Tell them to drop ship that part, lol....
Yep the day after they ordered the radio for the memory issue it burned up my IPod. I'm not real pleased about that, but I'll post when I know more about how this is all going to shake out with the radio repair/replacement.
Please don't read this as a bitch post, it isn't. Mine has had radio issues since day one and I'm kinda looking forward to finally having them all worked out. Maybe this will be the time it happens. Anyhow I know some folks had whole radio's replaced but I'll post when they have a cure.

So Cal
After 14 months of ownership my original radio was replaced. The new one is like night and day. I have heard (but wont reveal my source) that Polaris knows the early production bikes have radio problems. I credit their supplier for learning from their mistakes. Rasberries to Polaris for not stepping up to the plate.

Teach....do you know when your bike was produced? Mine was probably 6-8 months after the first run and although I've had issues with the channel changing pieces on the left handlebar....the radio has worked fine. Well, if you don't count the reception.
