Oil change and headlight should be O hour and a half. Rear tire two and a half hours.

I thought I read some where that the bulb changeout for the two front headlight bulbs was 3 hours by the book!! Is it really that time consuming do-it-your-self guys??

headlights are tough to get out unless you have a small hand to get at them .it will take the better part of 3 hours to strip the bike down to get at them .rear tire you can have off the bike in 15 minutes and an oil change about the same .a sevice manual is needed it shows in detail the easy way to do things.

But there is no easy way to change the headlight bulbs. My first time, I changed one and it took an hour or an hour and a half. I changed both last month and it took about an hour. Part of it is the learning process - it is a royal pain in the neck to get the clips off the first time. And then putting them back on? It's... special. Patience (and small hands) is the order of the day. My wrench at the dealership cuts his hands every time he changes them.

Oil change is simple. Haven't changed the tire myself.

Plumley Are you doing the work or is a shop????
If your doing the work you can get it done in a day with a few cold ones.

Trick for head ligh is to adjust the light all the way up and then pull air filter. Now you have hand room but still working by feel.
