Has anyone here installed the Thunder Headers AKA Thundersticks? I'd really like to see a review about well the fit and finish is as well how they perform. I've been mulling these over from Llloydz for months now. PS. I wouldn't mind selling my ST1L2 if anyone's intereseted. They have about 10Kmi on them. I'm looking for something a little more throaty. I don't want to sacrifice the performance at the same time.

i put one up with pics in the product review section. I enjoy them a lot. while shopping I listened to Atoms, Honkers, had S1l1"s and these provide a great sound compared to the others. The look is a different one, and with a "build out of the tcones with 2 1/2" exhaust clamps the stock heat shields go back one perfectly. Search fro my thread in the review, I love them!
Lloyd spun them and pulled a 109.3x113.7 with his cams, plate and vfc. enjoy

Thank you! I did a quick search and it missed your post. Probably not the right keywords or something. You answered exactly what I wanted to know. This looks like the direction I am going to go. I have to find a set of stock pipe take-off shields now though because my bike came with S1L2 installed.
Thanks again,
-Will

I recently heard thunersticks at my dealer. They sound great. I just bought my vision from the same dealer and they were unsure about how to install the original heat shields, so i ended up going with CFRs. They are also very very deep sounding, but not quite as cool sounding as the thundersticks. However, if you want performance info on them, CFR has dyno'd a Vision with them. But again, the thunderstick sound great if you haven't heard them.
