Nicest weekend for riding here in Colorado so far this year- Rode up into RMNP and went as far as we could up Trail Ridge Road. Should be an early opening this year, not much of a snow pack. Gonna have to take the long way around tomorrow-headed over to Granby/Grand Lake for some early ice off lake trout fishin'-hopefully have some more good pics. see you on the road, Brian

Raised in Denver until I was 23 years old...Now in Michigan at 72 years old with an 2011 Vision..Have been on the spot where you shot picture many times and really miss Colorado and the roads/mountains..Sister lives in Boulder and is always bugging my wife and I to move back....After seeing your picture I may have to consider it more seriously....If the economy and housing market was not so crappy, I might make the move.....Ride safe.

Looks really nice Brian, wish I could have joined ya, but I have about 900 miles in the way. Was Trail Ridge Road about 60-miles from your place?

Hey Tom, yep-Trail Ridge Road/RMNP is about 45 miles up big Thompson Canyon from the Ponderosa-Jaynie & had a snack & a refreshing beverage up at Mishawaka Inn last Friday afternoon, a bit to cool for hangin' out on the deck yet. No giant lake trout pictures to post + some A-Hole left the camera behind. Left the Fort at 4am this morning and was on the water fishing just after 7am. Fished 'till noon and got skunked, rode up Trail Ridge from the western slope side to Milner Pass- riding temps ranged from 22 this morning in Tabernash to 80 when I rolled back in-racked up 500 beautiful miles this weekend, see you on the road-Brian

Nice that you can enjoy RMNP (I'm jealous..lol!) The Milner Pass looks like it would be a fun ride.

Inland Trout season here opens up May 5th.
