Not that this will answer your questiion, however...I had a Wing with a mud flap on it.  You guessed it, broke the back half of the fender at the bolt holes.  I didn't reinstall the mud flap on the new fender.  Honda will only sell the fender 'in color' also which keeps the price right up there.  Bushtec used to make a stiffener kit for the Wing fender, but I think that has been discontinued now.  I haven't checked the price on a Vision fender as I think mine is still there!

I noticed some cracks on mine, but no big deal, maybe a washer might help. I think the cracking is due to the screws being too tight. plenty have complained of the same issue, mine just has little cracks but I've had it off a zillion times, and yes I have a mudflap for about a year.

hmmm, good question.

being I do most of my own maintenance, a couple of reasons; to change the fork fluid, to redo the steering bearing, make it easier to get to the battery, to put on the mudflap. That's all I can think of at the moment.

THREAD BREAK

Nohawg...BTW,

My youngest daughter who is one of Fargo's Finest (also a Motor Officer) was following a Vision last week thinking it was her parents.  The Vision pulled into a gas station and she followed them in, pulled up next to them and said something like "OH...I see you aren't my parents" visited with them for a bit and went on her merry way.  That wasn't you by chance?
