| Still doing my research on Victory MCs. When I was into BMWs, my local dealership would blowout last year left overs as soon as the new models came in. And the same with Chevys. What about Victory? For guys that have been around Victorys for awhile, is there a certain time that Victory has sales? In AZ there really isn't a non-riding season. Looking at the pricing locally, it looks like all the dealerships just post MSRP, similar to the Harley dealerships. I searched but didn't see many discusions on pricing... and I don't know anyone locally with a Vic, hell, I never see one on the road. My wife and I love the CCT... |

Fountain Inn, SC United States | Corporate discounts will be on last years models but Victory has done a very good job of limiting inventory to dealers so you won't see a lot of those bikes. That said, they do exist and now is the time you'll see discount both from corporate and dealer.

Tri Cities, WA | Victory runs great deals on older models such as 09-10's and some 2011's. My wife and I just bought her the 2012 CCT and we got the black friday $500 discount along with the 3 year free extended (Red tag sale) warranty for buying during this time Nov-Dec. They also have the $1000 military discount as well on all models. Make sure and read the fine print though. Good luck. |

| I see the 3 yr is actually 2 extra years. So what is the $$ value of the 2 extra years?
And if there are not too many corporate discounts, is everyone paying sticker? Are the sticker prices negotiable?
I haven't decidede whether I would trade in my HD RG or sell it. |

Columbia, SC | I got an 09 at the end of 2010 (december) and all in all (including military discount) it was 5k off of MSRP. Didn't seem too bad to me. Wait for December, get that "Buy before January" money off, sometimes they throw a $500 in accessories as well, and try to catch a 2010 model if you can.

I too found it difficult to figure out pricing. What I did was combine the factory discount offered at the time ($1000) along with the $1000 "coupon" given if you do a demo ride. I found my bike and started negotiations WITHOUT these discounts figured it. The coupon had a 2 week window and could be used at ANY dealer and applied to the purchase price (or accessories). I was very pleased with the result. A bike that retailed for $26k OTD for $19k. True, it was already 2 years old, but I'm happy it sat on the dealers floor waiting just for me!
I think the dealership really didn't know how to sell these bikes. They had more NOS (New Old Stock) Vics on the floor than I've ever seen. I'm talk'n 2007s and 2008s... even. Kinda sad. They actually were complaining to me about my purchase deal. I had to tell them that it is strictly business and that they should have sold this bike long before I purchased it. They did say that they had just undergone management change and that more bikes were going to be sold. I sure hope so... Holding out for top dollar often means NO dollars as customers in this economy will go elsewhere.
One final thing - for any dealers reading this... Please show interest in us AFTER our purchase. We love our bikes! Have your salespeople step outside and check our bikes out, see what we've done to them; ask where we've ridden, etc. etc. I for one, WANT to give you more business - if you care. Post-sale customer service / care helps retain a customer for future purchases. |

Akron Ohio area | A brand new current model year Vision should cost you list price minus 10%.
Anything older than the current model year will be discounted, and sometimes DEEPLY discounted.
A large dealership in Arizona or Nevada was selling 2011 Visions in the $15,000 range a few months ago. (list price $23,200)
That should give you an idea of what their markup is.
I got a 2 year Polaris extended warranty and $1,000 in extras thrown in with my purchase.
The only Victory's that might sell at list price or above would be the "Ness" or "LE" (limited edition) bikes. |

| As with any purchase, It all comes down to "what you can negotiate". The most I have heard of is around 18.86% off list for a current year model including accessories. The demo rides are a starting point so you can pretty much EXPECT to ALWAYS be able to get AT LEAST $2K off a current year model simply by using that demo ride discount + a typical $1K dealer discount.

Problem with MOM's is they want top dollar and seem to get it. I bought two of my bikes from them. They are good people (Joel the owner is great), just like to start at the high end so you think your getting a great deal when you talk them down a little. I paid just under MSRP for my XC in Nov '09, but then again I was one of the first of a new model delivered to this area, so I expected to pay almost full price. On the other hand, got a BIG discount on my wife's Ness JP as a repeat customer. |

| As said before and I agree with kevinx....PROVE it to me, I am from Missouri, A lot of folks blow "smoke up your ass" on great deals at Joe Blow's dealership....99% turn out to be in reality pure B.S......If any dealer was selling brand new 2011 Visions for $15,000 he is just plain stupid or one lousy businessman and want's to go out of business soon....C'mon man...give me a break.......

| I'd check with the guy on this board that claims he bought a new 2011 Vision for $15,500 in Missouri...If he, in reality, got it for close to that price you should contact the dealer and buy a bike from them, fly or drive out there and ride or ship the bike home..And still save money...
....Maybe you could get you local dealer to read the post about this issue on this board and negoitiate a better price????? I paid less for my 2011 in May of last year which included S1L1 pipes and 10% off accessories....... |
