Today I rode Three Sisters in the Texas Hill Country. 240 miles of turns. What a day!

I have own a couple of Gold Wings in the past, and have ridden in a few states. But, I guess I am just not covering the right areas. I did today.

A few months ago, I bought a 2008 Vision and have been happy with it. It rides well, easy to handle. Looks cool.

The Three Sisters - three highway treks around the Kerrville area northwest of San Antonio. I think God made this area just for motorcycles. What a day.

While Hoggs abound in the area, along with Gold Wings, Trikes, Beemers, and others. I did not see any Visions. And, while everyone has fun on this ride, the Vision EATS IT UP. I left plenty of Hoggs behind. It was fun keeping up with the Beemers and Ducati's.

If you get the chance to ride in central Texas. Do so. Don't wait for summer it might be too hot. Our day started at 61 degrees and ended up around 94. A warm spring day in Texas.

Hope you had fun today.

I've ridden that part of Texas although we called it the twisted sisters.

Kris1956,
I heard it referred to as both. I even liked the Three Twisted Sisters.

It seems to be made for a Vision.

You should check out MOPAC in Austin. Also a great stretch to take a ride on.

What roads constitute the Three Sisters? I live in MI but I'm considering keeping my Vision in San Antonio next winter. If I do, the Three Sisters sounds like a great place to ride.

I love riding out there. If anyone is going that way please let me know and I will tag along. Here are some pictures from some of my visits.

The last ride had four Visions and two Harleys in the group.

DFW?? I thought all you folks were landing in Tulsa about now, after last week!! You okay? I swear, after all the vids on CNN, a little rain around here seems pretty benign.
