Bought a set of chrome lowers from Cycleopsusa. The 1st. set as soon as I got them I noticed the chrome around bolt holes were bubbled. Called got a Will Molino who took took care of it right away sent me a new set say that I was the only one that this has happened to This was about 3mos. ago. Now the new sets chrome is bubbling/peeling like crazy. So I emailed/called MR.Molino again at his request. He was tied up at the moment and said that he'd return my call in about 15min. that was two days ago. SO I think you all know what I'M feeling about now. Thank You cycleops for the good product and good customer service. By the way I used to run a chrome plating shop.

Will has been going thru a lot. I'm sorry to see that it is affecting customer cafe. Be patient, I'm sure he'll do right by you.

Small vendors are just that, but I understand you're frustrations. I've got some high dollar chrome from Victory that they should be ashamed to have their name on. But I won't complain, it's functional and it's not worth the frustration to fix a little bling I don't care about to begin with. Like ND said, I've never heard Will do anybody intentially wrong.

Sorry you have problems with the lowers.  This is one of the reasons I got the Air wings from baker built.  I would recommend these to a friend.  You don't stick them on, you have to drill holes and use bolts to attach them, but you also don't have to worry about the glue coming loose either.  Google Baker Built Air wings.

Jim I do apologize for not calling you back. Got sidetracked and then the weekend hit and was tied up with my kids. Was going to call you Monday.
As For my stating that you are the first to ever mention such an issue with my chrome in 6 years is gospel. Feel free to ask anyone else here if ever there were ever any peeling or flaking or pitting issues with any parts of mine. That said, of course I will take care of you on it. I have never left a customer hanging for any reason and will not be starting to do so now. My reputation for service is second to none, and if I'm going to be hung out to dry over a few days late reply then so be it.

On a different note, if you recall when you mentioned this forum that I made sure to give you the discount that you didn't know about. You're not a victim of some crime or conspiracy here so there's no need for dramatizing it here.

Just saying? You should know what you're talking about before you make such stupid and baseless comments out of thin air direct from the peanut gallery. You know, just saying...

I've never bought anything from Will but I've never heard anyone say he didn't take care of the few problems that come about with any business. And in his case they are very few.

I have the upper and lower wind deflectors from CycleOps in the color match for SSG. I know it is not chrome but after 2 years of riding they still look great. If you have a problem with a product you should exhaust all possible attempts at a solution until the supplier avoids you before you air your complaint in public.

I HAVE ordered from Will in the past. I can say that I got unheard-of customer service from him. And the product is also superior. Sorry for your bad experience, but to everyone else, don't let this one persons experience give Will a bad name. Every company has a bad time once in a while. I hope Will makes good on it.

I purchased the chrome upper and lower air deflectors from Will about 3 years ago and installed them on the bike and I have never had or experienced any problems/issues. -- they work and look as good today as the first day I installed them. You can see them on the following thread:

http://www.Vision-riders.com/bb/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=10906&po...

I have made many purchases from Will (Cycle Ops):

- Chrome Cheese Wedges
- Chrome Engine Covers
- Chrome Drag-N-Rest
- Chrome Billet 3D Insert
- Chrome Shift Linkage
- Modified/recovered seat
- Many other items

In all cases, the chrome (melted butter) is the best I?ve ever seen on any of my projects (restored cars, bikes?) and my family had a chrome platting business. I have never had an issue with ANY of the products I?ve purchased from Will and his integrity and credibility is second to none. Some my believe his products are over priced but, the bottom line, you get what you pay for and I rather pay once for a great product, customer service, and support our venders.

It?s too bad you feel you have been wronged but, as was stated in an earlier post, you should have worked (offline) your issues with Will instead of airing your dirty laundry.

Hate to say it but I agree. Seems you jumped the gun. You made one call and then when Will forgot to call you right back you got upset. A second call, or waiting until Tuesday to give Will a Chance to call you Monday seems more appropriate. You also could have e-mailed him directly. Give the guy a change to get things right.

Phew!
Thank you Jim, and I am truly sorry that in 6 years you have my first chrome issue. I guess it had to happen sooner or later!

And to all you guys who posted the kind words, thank you very much and I promise you all I will always rectify any issue... I'm just glad it's an extremely rare occurrence and Will try my damnedest to keep it that way!!!

Will didn't want to cover the pretty chrome on my Enteprise luggage rack.... But I made him. No regrets.

Will is a pro when it comes to customer service.

Will,

If you are still reading this... my 2011 Victory Vision is Crimson/Black. You only seem to have the Antares Red and Midnight Cherry lowers/uppers. Do they also come in Crimson; to match my Vision's color?

I haven't had enough requests for the crimson, so no I don't have a match. I would need a panel here to see what we may have that matches. You also always have the alternative Of ordering them raw and prepped for painting and either give them to a painter or use the Victory aerosol cans and do it yourself.

Of all the small vendors I have worked with when buying goodies for my Victory's, Will has provided, by far, the best customer service I have ever experienced, when buying anything.

I have ahd the chrome uppers and lowers for about 3 years now, no issues what so ever, but when I received the uppers, they were two left siders. One simple call to Will, problem was solved including return shipping.

All vendors mess up from time to time, or forget a phone call, I can't count how many calls whet unanswered to some other vary reputable vendors for goodies. I simply call back or email, then give them some time to respond.

I find it interesting, the general lack of patients folks have these days, particularly ones in north America. I don't know if its the time I have spent overseas in places like Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Korea, ect, but it has taught me a great deal of patience. Nothing fast happens in many overseas countries. It really makes me wonder why so many people get worked up over something relatively trivial.

Will at Cycleops has been AWESOME to deal with. Met him a couple of years ago and what I excellent person and what excellent products and service he provides. I have purchesed many products from Cycleops and have NEVER had an issue, and the quality justifies the price.
I am practicing my Fredom of speech by actually having FACTS to support my statements instead of baseless comments... oh Yeah " just sayin"
