does anyone have any experience with these windshields? The dealer messed mine up and is offering to replace it with anything that I want. I am thinking of going with the 18 inch light gray. I believe this should be a little bit taller than stock. Any input would be greatly appreciated as I have to call them back with an answer soon.

I have a Cee Bailys dark 16" and love it. The downside is your going to wait......they dont stock those they make them to order - I think I paid (quite a bit) for a the RUSH option and got mine in 2 weeks......vs about 4 weeks if you dont RUSH it.

I dont have many pics of my bike from the front....but heres the dark 16".

and dont worry about the tint.  Yeah its dark at night.....but during the day its like its not even there really.  This is what the view from the inside of the "dark" one is during daylight.

Thanks Aaron. I am not worried about the time. I am laid up for the season anyway. How does the 16" compare to stock? Do you just look over it at night since you have the dark?

Don't get too excited. That's kilometers or 78 mph.

Explain to me how you go 130mph at only 3000rpm...I ride a Vision myself, never been that fast, but seems to me I was well over 3000rpm in 6th gear at about 100mph????

Im 6ft2in....when in its lowest position I can see over it easily.....and the windblast hits be about the forehead.

I can raise it just a bit and the wind blows right over my head......and I can still see over it with lots of room to spare.

All the way up its only barely creeping into my vision.....I think for someone near my height its about perfect.

Honestly I could have easily gone shorter.....but I like the 16" when Im blasting down the highway in a torrential storm.

I was on a 2 day, 2000 mile trip from Iowa to the AMA Museum in Columbus, OH......then Niagra Falls.....and back thru Canada. I hit 4 of the 5 Great Lakes in the process. That picture was taking in Canada.....I had 'er in METRIC MODE.

Damn handy that Ma Vic made it so easy to switch back and forth.....it was nice not to have to play the guessing game in Canada.

How do you make the switch? I was in Canada last week and that would have come in handy.

I was running with a local Harley guy in Canada. At the end of the run he pulls up and tells me that the RCMP will TAKE YOUR BIKE if you're caught at 40 kpm over the limit!!! And they don't give it back. I felt like shit all evening. We were well over that for a long time.

Go with a 7jurock light tint if you are going to get an 18"
The CB windshield in an 18' size has a weird border. It makes it look like it is in the up position when down, and even weirder when up.

The first picture shows the OEM and a dark tinted 18" CB on top of each other.
The second shows the gap along the side when the CB is in the lowered position.

I have not heard of this problem with the 16" CB.

Hmmm... I was looking at 18" because I wanted something a little taller than OEM which I believe is 17.5". I totally see what you are saying about the CB windshield and don't like it.

You are saying that the 7jurock does't have this gap with 18"?

Correct, but they do not make it in a dark tint either.

The Cee Bailey business is great. I was one of thier first orders. I ordered 2" over stock. I received the windshield, and it was the same height as stock. I called them, and the had just discoverd the original Victory shield they used in the R&D was a -2". They sent me a new windshield right away, and told me to keep the 1st one. +1 service.

I'm 6'3" and have the 20 inch jurlock and love it. All the way up you see through it with no problem. All the way down and easily look over it. Best of both worlds.

I'm 6' and I got the 22" and in the lowered position the top edge of the windshield was in my line of sight. After further inspection of the windshield I found that it was damaged and had to return it. I went with the 20" which should be just right for me.

I put all of your input together and decided on a 19" light gray 7jurock for my 5' 10" body. Hope it works out.
