Went to look at my 10th this past week and decided that I don't need a bunch of stuff that's on it, so I ordered a Blue Ice with just the items I think I need.

The 10th is a beautiful bike, and I may regret at some point not getting it, but right now I'm very happy with my decision.

So, Monster Motors has a brand new 10th for sale if anyone is interested. Pricing will be up to you and Gary.

I'm actually getting a bike I like better....and if anyone of you says the blue is a "gay color" I'll hunt you down and hit you with my man purse ....equipped the way I want, and I'm over $5,000 less for a bike that does the same. Not to mention the difference in 7% sales tax in Indiana.

So....if you want a 10th, contact Gary at Monster Motors in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and tell him Smitty from Gas City sent you.

Beautiful bike, but I don't fault you at all. Good marketing for Victory, but the one I sat on in the Demo Trailer, the rep said there was nothing at all different about the 10th from the regular Vision then the paint scheme and a few extra bells and whistles. Same bike with lipstick basically, the ride is the same. But you will regret it Smitty, I suppose, when you go somewhere and see one sitting and think "I could of had one....". But live as I do, no regrets...

I have no plan to regret buying the blue one. With that $5K+ that will still be in the bank account, I might even take the wife on a nice spring break trip to Aruba.

Seriously, the 10th is a very nice color, and with the accents looks great. But chrome doesn't make 'em last longer or run better or ride smoother. And it doesn't make them go faster.

My dealer has a guy working for his shop that is one hell of a painter, and we're going to paint the two aluminum parts on the front (below the windshield and the horse collar around the motor opening) the same blue, along with the parts right below the tail light between the exhausts. Then some nice classy pinstripes and it's like no one else's. If it looks good, I'll probably end up painting the side pieces blue as well. The bike might look better all one color, especially a "quiet" color like the blue.

When she's finished, I'll post pictures. Now for an original name that fits a female toothless Tasmanian Devil, which is what the front reminds me of.

Here are some examples, blue on blue and blue on white. I think white would look pretty good instead of the dull gray.

Smitty, there is no doubt you will not regret buying the Ice Blue Vision. I really like the color, you will get a lot of compliments on it. Congrats on getting what you want and enjoy the ride.

I don't know you, but I'm a hard core Victory owner. At only five years of owning Victory motorcycles, I'm hard core, if that is possible. I won't buy another brand as long as they continue to make them. With that, for me I would regret not getting the 10th.

I like the way the white looks. I had the boardwalk blue and pearl kingpin. I am toying with the idea of repainting my midnight cherry vision the same way.

AF Goalie,

You know, I really like both of those. We may have to paint her all blue with some dark blue and white pinstripes.

Thanks for the pics.

I've owned a Kingpin since early '05 and love it. One of the best bikes I've ever owned. Not one issue, not one problem.

But I'm trading it in on the Vision since I also have a new Ducati Tri-Color Monster coming.

I like the blue ice with pearl white accents. Make it the same type of paint scheme as the 10th and it'd be real purty in my eyes. My buddy who normally only likes the cruiser style of bike, really was drooling over the way they did up the 10th Vision. Then I told him how much and he decided to go back to his V92C. Hopefully, I can convert him one day.

Yeah, it looked like a purty paint scheme for the 10th, they should offer the two tone it looks good. But they had stuff on that thing, I just didn't see me buying either. Why not bump the motor a little and make it real special for the money. I like the Red lettering for the 106 on the triangle and the engine cover. I thought it was a nice different look. The dials have more red on them also, I noticed.

I actually wanted the blue ice also, until i saw it in person. Its much different than the pictures indicate. Much more dark gray metallic than the pictures indicate. Also for me i thought the gray highlights got kinda washed out looking against the blue. I still think its a great color, not gay looking at all. It just wasnt for me.

I bought the blue and really have had many compliments on the color. I think the blue & white is the better of the two. The side shots of the bike is nice but I wonder what a frontal shot of the 2 colors would look like.

AF, what if the front panels were the bike color and the two side panels and the area below the saddlebags were a dark metallic blue?

That might be a great combo too.

Close...but how about a deeper blue like a Navy Blue Angels blue with metallic flake. THAT would look HOT!

Yeah, that would work and we did discuss adding a medium to dark blue with the silver pinstripes. Actually, with that blue you could use anything from white to lavender to the right green to red.

Basic images came from the Victory site. I just chose gallery and downloaded the screensaver photos.
