I know most of us will get this from Victory in email. But I thought I'd post it here for those that don't. Such as folks researching the Vision and other Victory models.

The Victory Challenge Demo Tour trucks will be offering demo rides all across the country in 2009!  Check the stops below
to plan your demo ride.

I'm wondering if there are no Canadian dates because the dealers let us test ride before we buy. Maybe I got lucky but both dealerships I checked out offered a test ride.

We have the truck at the store I work at on March 22. We also have test rides for any real customer that comes in. The truck just gives better exposure

not stopping anywhere near me should've known they'd overlook Alabama. that's ok. I rode a Vision at Chateau Elan and have already made up mind. When these kids are up and out (no hurry), I will prayerfully get one.

We'll that sucks.......
Just because we up here in Michigan have one of the worse economies doesn't mean that we don't have any money for a new bike. Sure would like to give a Vision a ride. Currently I have 95,000 miles on my VTX1800, and I'm going to need a new traveling machine.

Perhaps I'll just have to try to get on one at this summers Americade. I hope that there is enough of them in the truck. That's going to be a tough place to get some seat time. Lot's of people there.............

CORRECTION I wouldnt go by this schedule. Today is May 5th and and the Victory Hauler pulled up at my dealership this evening for a day and a half which is RICHMOND VIRGINIA !! If you notice, its not listed anywhere on the schedule, which tells me that you shouldnt count on the above schedule to be set in stone. Its currently at Catlin Kustom Cycles in Hopewell Virginia

Ya Rickie, it does SUCK!

Not a single stop in Michigan. It also sucks that the closest Victory dealership to my home is more than three hours away. =(

Good thing I purchased my own dealer diagnostic tools.

Thanks Polaris.

Both the XC and XR are on display. You can sit on but not ride.
I hear that they may be planning a tour this fall with the trailer filled with both bikes to be ridden.
No word on a date or destinations though.

No Vision 8-Ball on the truck I saw last weekend.
It is the same truck heading to Pa for this weekend.
A bunch of 09's with the XC and XR.

they've got to give the xc and xr's a head start 'cause once the Vision8 hits the road it will be the hot seller. just MHO but that is one good look bike and it is made for the serious biker... again IMHO...

Saw the V8 at the Sturgis showroom downtown. The seat is different than ours as it has been cut deep. I do like the wheels. But the bike has no accessories, but I would assume for a lot of money you can get. So if it was my money, I would by a black 08 new Street left over, have someone modify the seat, put on some Arlen Ness wheels, and black out. Also hear that there are lowing kits for the Vision now or coming soon. I'm just saying, but is does look cool.

VT not to be argumentative, i'm starting to see the relationship better between production bikes and public demand. there is a great many bikers out there that shun the creature comforts such as heated grips and radios. the guy that is buying the Vision8 (not to be confused with the Vegas 8) doesn't want a touring luxury bike he wants a big dang motorcycle. i see the market and i think this will be a shining star for Victory. maybe in my dreams, but this will be told by next years model intro.

just a note how i can make a statement like that is i've had "bikers" say they like the vision they just don't want all that crap. okay, i understand, I had a great aunt who paid money to get a stripped down chevy caprice wagon as it came with all the power stuff. all she wanted was a simple radio and a/c.

i like gadgets so the Vision TP fits me perfect, but I would love to have a Vision8 or lower mine with the same stuff, take off the tour pack and get a trailer, and away we go....

I just returned from the Women's Motorcycling Conference in Keystone, Colorado. I was extremely disappointed that Victory was not there to allow people to demo their bikes. The need to increase exposure is paramount and women's buying power is growing. My bike attracts people like bees to flowers. Sometimes I feel like Victory should PAY me to talk about my bike because I feel like such a promoter. I also know that next year when I custom paint my bike there will be no Victory emblem left on. That is how irritated I am.

I guess Louisiana is not big enough to have Victory make a stop here. That's probably why we only have 2 dealerships in the whole state! Exposure is everything if your going to sell your wares. What's even worse is they are making stops at 2 dealerships in Texas that wouldn't even call me back when I was looking for a Vision! ARGHHH!!!
