Didn't have much sense in me since we got snow and the roads have been nasty the last couple of days. Church and few other things were cancelled or closed today and I wasn't planning on going any where, but I did figure by the time I did the roads would be okie dokie. Around 10ish I found myself needing to go out and figured it would be okay.

I'll say up front I made it to my destination okay, but there was a few moments I thought I'd be trying out the TOP at 30 or so MPH. I had one guy behind me trying to kiss my ice, and you'll see me wave in the little video to get him to BACK OFF!

Chris - Chris - Chris.... well, now you have issued undisputable proof.

You are the CRAZIEST VISION RIDER IN THE WORLD

INSANE, Man !!!! Just the THREAT of all that slush coming at me from an oncoming truck scares the hell out of me (and MOST sane bikers).

And that's just ONE of the possibilities. Chris - YOU are worthy of being an actual "CRAZY CANUCK" !!!!

When you saw the pictures of ME in the snow - the roads were BARE AND DRY !!! Wow - I'm just in awe.....

Clear evidence that his butt is not the only part of his anatomy made of some form of metal.
I just want to know if brass ones are as cold as they are reputed to be.

Dear Santa,
PLEASE bring me some new handlebar tassles for my bike... I've been a good boy and ridden her so much this year that they blew off
and all that is left is one sad little strip of leather... I promise I wont ask for anything else.
Thank you VaRyder.

All I know is that when I visit Virginia from now on I will only drink bottled water as between Varyder and the Paradox there is something going on that I need to watch out for...and it must be in the water...

VaRyder and I get a long fine. just cause we kid each other on here doesnt mean a thing. My mamma told me, "ya only kid the folks ya like, the ones ya dont like, ya leave alone". VaRyder is lucky cause he gets to ride his bike more then me. I just cant make deliveries from my store on a bike.

here's one doing a review on the Vision in the snow. I didn't see anything that concerning, except just being out in it is absurd. Also, he doesn't have the tassles, big difference. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtV10ncmGXg

Brass ones, steel ones..................I'm not sure what your balls are made of but they must be BIG ones. Be careful someone may put you in a straight jacket if you keep it up.

I have spent some time in the South. I learned something very important. Southerners tend to go a little crazy when there is snow on the road. They seem to not know what it is or how to drive on it. Look out for the other idiots VARyder. That is one ride I dont think I would do, and I know what snow is. NE Wisconsin has taught me that much!

Ride safe you crazy SOB!

You are in a "crazy club" I don't want to belong to. Just glad your report didn't contain and broken bones and a crash report. Your Mrs. gets my vote for "wife of the year".

Chris,
I was watching and thinking to myself "it took him over a minute to get out of his driveway... what a nut job"
Then I thought "now that he's out on the road, it does not look so bad"
Then I saw the hardpack drift snow across the road... and stopped watching. As the author-who-will-not-be-winning-a-pulitzer-anytime-soon put it.... "Absurd"

In a fit of self-preservation, I am now only focusing on "Where are his lowers?"

finally, the word "ABSURD" can be associated with a Vision.

That's great! I would do that too. I often wondered about all those who winterize thier bikes. But snow on the road is a rairity down in Houston.

overall it was not that bad. I did not plan on doing this, I thought the roads were all clear. I rode again today, but will leave early on to avoid the night freeze.

with global warming Houston can expect blizzards in the future...

New handle for ya Chris: Instead of VaRyder you should be "VISIONKRAZY"

I wuz hoping someday to ride with ya - keep up this sno-cat stuff, and I may not even get to meet ya.....

Remember - just because Victory makes snowmobiles, doesn't mean that a Vision has those characteristics....

Chris, you have my deepest respsect for even THINKING of riding in that, let alone doing it. Please, please, please ride as safely as you possibly can, as we (Vision-riders) certainly don't want to lose you.

thanks for the concern, I always plan to finish my rides to be able to ride again. I will say I did not feel the bike being squirrelly even across the slicky stuff. Only knowing what I was on kept me from being over confident, but that is how I ride anyways.
