Several Vision owners and I have been brainstorming and here's a few possible designs we're considering. They'll be made of 6061-T6 aircraft grade billet aluminum and available in triple show chrome or powder coat in several different colors including Gloss or Flat Black, Charcoal (SSG),?Midnight Cherry Mettalic, and the new Ocean Blue Metallic as standard choices.

Will, I like pics 3&4. It has holes/slots for bag straps or bungee hooks.

I like all of them, but 2, 3 ,and 4 would be the most practical. #1 is cool, but not at all practical for real travel use. I have the factory rack, and sometimes use the mounting legs as hook points for bungees. The slots on 3 and 4 would come in very handy.

I like #4- would the lugs be in the same location as the Polaris version?

Any cost estimates yet? A black Flying V is interesting. Just wondering how hard I will have to beg the wife.

Sweet! How about one more triangle shaped hole at the bottom of the "V" for front to back bungy cords.

As the man said.....How much for Glossy Black Powercoat?

I think the slotted, flying "V" will be a big hit.

Will you sell the hardware and a template to mount it or will it only be for people who have already bought the stock rack?

Just to show you you're comments matter...

The pic is approximate and only intended to give you some perspective.

No pricing yet on either, but we're currently running the program and should at least have a ballpark for you pretty soon.

I like the Flying V with the final cut outs. I assume it will fit the holes I already have for my Victory rack. One thing I wonder about is that the top tips of the wings seem to come forward quite a bit which is a good thing but is the raised area of the trunk going to be protected from scratching by anything I would strap to the rack. On most trunk racks you see the front and back of the rack turned up slightly, would this aid in protecting that raised area on the Vision trunk or is the bend not necessary?
