Between Rockford and Sterling Illinois | Anyone come up with a place for a cup holder? I'm thinking of adding one. Also got to look at my Super Steel Vision (the fastest color) with the sixshooters and stage 1 pipes installed tonight. Liking it more and more! |

Brighton, TN | I too would like somewhere to put my Dr. Pepper or mt. dew. But for the moment, I have been relegated to sticking it in my shirt pocket. Like to have my morning coffee. I have seen a few cup holders but nothing I want to stick on my bike. I saw a guy riding a Harley who had one stuck on the side cage of the saddle bags. Thought that was slick. The only thing I could come up with was to attach one to the rear tip over bars. Within easy reach seems easily doable. |

| I believe the Butler mug and holder that is used a lot on the Goldwing and other touring bikes will adapt to the Vision. The mounting holes are elongated to allow for different spacing of the bolts from the handlebar controls. Check them out at www.glassact.com

Las Vegas, Nevada USA baby! | Riding in the heat can dehydrate a rider very quickly. I have to find one myself for sure! I sure hope I find one soon, the desert is going to be getting hot quickly here in SoNev!
I've got a new water bottle holder for a bicycle, and if I get desperate, I may be mounting it to my handlebar with some long cable ties! |

I love that!! (30 mpmd) Gotta remember that one.
I've seen a lot of cup holders out there, but don't know if they'll work on the oddly shaped bars of the Vision. |

I will be using the ram mount to hold my drink and my camera my old unit fits just fine I do need a little longer U bolt to fit the bars properly.

The 12v power is sweet I can run my camera all day and just change out the tapes.
I will be ordering the cup holder mount today, chrome of course.
Ram mounts are the best as far as I am concerned they make mounts for everything you could ever want on your bike.
I hope this helps all who are wanting a nice refreshing drink while riding.

Salisbury, NC | I can't remember the name of it, but they sell them at every bike shop for$20. If you take the cover off the front and look in there. You will see the honeycone supports for the speakers. I drilled a hole in the big space about half way down. Then I just bolted the cup holder there. It works well. ET

I purchased the folding adjustable cup holder from Bass Pro Shop for under $7.00, used two chrome wire ties and it has worked like a charm. I am going to take it off and paint it silver in the next few days. |

South of Houston Tx | This is something that I would have thought they would have included with this bike. I haven't installed one yet but meanwhile when I head out I buy a bottle of water, I get a good drink then stand it up inside the right saddle bag. This is not a good solution for when you need a drink cruising down the street, but when I am at a traffic light I can reach back and open the bag and get the water. The amazing thing is that on several trips I have gone as far as 200 miles and the water is still standing upright when I reach for it!
The other drink I like on these hot Texas days is Whataburger Chocolate Shakes, When the wife isn't riding (which incidentally is the only time I'm allowed to get a chocolate shakes anyway, what she don't know don't hurt her) I can use the folded up passenger floorboard as a drink holder. a small whataburger shake cup fits right in between the floorboard and the side cover, it's easy to reach and I have traveled down the interstate at 70 MPH without worry of it flying out! |

Houston, Texas | Instead of fighting a cup holder I wear a Camelbak...............looks kinda strange but on the road I have 70oz of Cold water that is a snap to refill at a BIO stop................when I was riding the 'other' VTWIN those folks got a big laugh the first time I rode with my Camelbak. Imagine my smile when several weeks later on another ride there were several Camelbaks present.
It do get HOT in Texas this time of the year and dehydration is a real concern.

Savannah, GA -Year round riding!! Yay! | Those are my ba77s.... When I wanted to learn to ride 2 1/2 years ago, my hubby said that I could ride, that I didn't have ba77s. So, I went and got me those, and dangled them in his face, and said "Where's my bike?" and he got me a shadow 750. (I don't know why they are grey in that picture. They're pink in real life. Y'all act surprised...)
Here's his ba77s....
I keep them there for safe keeping. Two nights a week, I let him have them to go out with the boys. As long as they are back by midnight, they don't turn into a pumpkin.... hehe

Cleveland, GA | I took a bicycle-mount bottle holder (with an adjustable strap) and bent the top of its frame 90 degrees into an L-shape. Hung it on my right handlebar, with the bend on top of the brake fluid reservoir, with a piece of rubber in between the holder frame and the handlebar/reservoir as scuff protection. I used black zip ties to hold it on. Looks pretty good and works great. I actually had someone ask where I got it, thinking that it was an actual accessory.
I would show pics, but I'm about 6,000 miles away from the bike right now. You'll just have to use your imagination. <sorry> |

Island Lake, Alberta, Canada | What I've done in the past, & not yet to the Vision (time thing) is to raid someones pedal bike for the bottle holder & mount it to the handle bars by drilling & tapping for stainless machine screws. |

It looks like it's pretty new. They also have a set with the same thread pitch, M10 sized ball mount/self-leveling cup holder combo at the bottom-right of this page:

I think the ball mount is the same size but they don't show the bolt length. I'm emailing them to find out if they are; in fact, the same size. It would'nt mind buying into their mounting system and picking up a few things that would attach to the ball mount. Similar to what Trixie's done with her cam, cup holder, etc. Anyone try the Vision specific ball mount yet?
