Mike! Great to have you onboard! Kinda reminds me of the early VMC days. Do you still have your '99?

Good to see you over here Mike! This is a GREAT forum. None of the baggage some other sites have. I agree with Jedi in that it has an early-VMC feel to it. There are those of us who have (or are thinking about purchasing) a Vision......have taken a chance again on the unknown (just like with the early Vics).....and now we can come here and discuss the good and the bad.

You'll be a welcome addition!

And..yeah.....what about that bad-ass KYSO blue '99????

Ride safe......

What, this is unheard of, I shall stir something up just to make you feel better! A black Vision is the only color that looks good, especially mine, when I'm riding it. I know you think you disagree, but it is not true .

Welcome. This is the best place for info on these bikes. And the best part is NO POLITICS. I wouldn't be so sure about the Malcontents though. I've caught a few lurking.

hehehe,

Yeah, still got the '99, had a low speed boo boo, gonna sell after I replace a few parts.

So, no place for my butt-crack VMC avatar... sheesh. So what kinda oil y'all using :^)

I'll start the complaints. You know what I hate about the bike? because of the fairing, I can't tell how fast I'm going. I know I'm gonna get tickets... damn you Polaris. And then there is the hearing damage I know I'm gonna get running my iphone or ipod. I should sue!

I too have been wondering about the whole speed thing. Can't tell how fast I'm going cause I can't see my front wheel. I like to count the wheel rotation per minute (WRPM) and then hand calculate my own speed by pencil and paper. I have noticed I also don't have place to stick my pencil without breaking the tip off, needs one of those clippy thinggy's. I am looking not so much at the CTS, carpal tunnel, as much as I am the Dueling thumbs and index finger pushing compression syndrome (DTIFPCS). AS far as oil goes, I put what I get out of my truck in my bike. I figure if it can go 12,000 miles without changing it, I should be able to get another 6,000 out of it when the truck is done with it. Oh, that's Shell Rotella T 15w-40, well used.

Whats a red street premium. You must be new here. Here the Ancient ones of Acronyms have named it MCPS (Midnight Cherry Premium Street)? This of course is a public announcement to keep you in the know and to keep the likes of ALL the Ancient Ones (Geezers) and to keep them from Misery and Malcontentment (which we all know their Blood Pressure and Heart Medicines cannot or will not compensate for).

Oh, yeah, new guy! Welcome, this is an automated message designed to self destruct to enforce the use of the AweSome Rig you bought, instead of the internet or TV. Your wElCoME and come back often.

As for Tralphaz and Varyder, I feel as though I have been led astray to the den of the lions, you Ancient Geezers. You take my typed words and transform them into heresy and tom foolery. OHHH, OOHHH, this has to be the last straw with you guys, I must now wish upon you lots of water and mud and extra pollen for your riding gear, NNOOOO not for the bike, just for you, don't want to muck up that pretty finish. As for this den of heretics and lions, I have brought my rifle for dinner, now just need to figure out how to get that fire going. Where did I put those matches, (ahem, FLAME THROWER)?

Pollolitte, at first I went, huh? Then I realized that you rode a Black one and not an MCTP. I was duped by Tralphaz but I do favor the Midnight Cherry over the rest.

Mike - I am the only sane one here - if you need anything just contact me- sorry, its embarrassing sometimes. Most of them are former Vespa club members that are trying to be somebody. This Poolittttllee guy talks a big game, but his wife runs the show so he likes to try and flex where his Ms. can't see him.

WELCOME! I just went Phx to SF to San Diego last month. I have a daughter in the City and will do it again and look you up.
