It's been nearly three months since I purchased my Vision and still have not received any info from the VRA. How long did it take you to receive the VRA info? I'm wondering if it will have expired by the time it gets here.

The dealer turned in the paper work to Victory upon purchase and advised it would take 30 days. Since there's no one to call at Victory/Polaris, I was wondering if others had the same, poor experience.

Any advice?

PBR, I haven't received/heard anything either after 4 1/2 months of ownership. I did call them about 6 weeks ago and was told my "packet" was due to be mailed "soon". Guess I'm going to have to call Rosetta Stone and find out what "packet" and "soon" mean!

You might have to call Indiana Jones to solve this mystery. I did call Victory and was told it was 30 days. When I told them it had been 60 days, I was put on indefinite hold.

Microsoft answers faster than Victory. Sheesh!

On another note, my Harley buddies still rag me about buying a Victory and have stated that I should hope they don't abandon the bike business like they did the watercraft biz. I don't have a good answer for that one...and you know me, I'm never at a lack of words. Although Polaris promised support for parts and service of the watercraft, I heard (not factual) that it's nearly impossible to get parts or service.

Because of this VRA delay, I'm a bit ticked off that they are ignoring the Victory buyers.

Any thoughts?

I must have been lucky.  My VRA packet arrived about 5 weeks after my purchase.  Too bad so many others, there were somemore at VMC, are being delayed so long.

I don't know if I'm thinking of the same thing that you all are, but I received a packet in the mail about a month after I bought my ViVi (bought the bike mid-Dec., recieved the packet mid.-Jan). It had my roadside assistance card, a pin, a "Thank you for buying a Victory" letter, and a magazine in it. I have since also received another magazine in the mail. Is this the VRA packet you are talking about or am I missing something, too?

Hi Trixie, You're one of the lucky ones. I haven't received anything from them as of yet...and it's been three months.

Hey PBR. Tell your buddies that Harley had to sell off their Holiday Rambler division to extend the warranty on their bikes. After all, cloning is for sheep.

Hey PBR, your HD buddies are just jealous. At least Polaris had the time to try and develope a watercraft. HD is too busy trying to fix their boat anchors.

I got the VRA "packet" from Victory about 45 days after delivery. Don't know why they are taking so long now.

Perhaps it is not Polaris/Victory's fault, perhaps it's really the dealers at fault for not following up on getting the paperwork to Polaris/Victory in a timely fashion?

Just a thought...............

It is my understanding that it is the DEALER who registers you for the VRA when you buy a bike. If they don't do it, you won't get your package. Just contact the dealer and ask them when they submitted the information up the chain. Sometimes it's an oversite, sometimes they just haven't done it, sometimes there is a typo in the VIN and that will hold it up. Could be any number of things, but as with most anything to do with Polaris, it all starts at the dealer.

My dealer finance mgr made sure that I knew about the VRA when I took delivery of my Vision, and the package arrived about 4-1/2 weeks later! I got my "Pegasus" Vsion on the 4th of Feb, and got the packet about the 8th of March!

Check with the dealer, that sounds like that is where the clog is. I got my pack fairly quick after taking delievery. Glare 'em down and ask "Did you register me for VRA?" My guess would be once registered you'd have a year to date before expiring, the membership, not you.

I recieved mine after 5 weeks or so of getting my bike. Funny thing is I already belonged to the club by owning my 2001 victory. They sent me another card after my vision. Got two of them now LOL !

As stated on another thread, my dealer informed me that when I received my warranty information, I was setup as a Victory owner. He explained that the dealers process this quickly as if they don't and a warranty issue comes up, the dealer does not get paid. After all the other discussions, it appears someone at Victory is asleep at the wheel. I'm a bit disappointed...but love my bike. I'd like it even better if I knew the factory is a pro-consumer company.

I received my VRA package in less than three weeks after taking delivery of my Vision. I took delivery March 22 and received the package April 10. That was amazing considering it had to come by dog sled to me here in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.
