Luke, even in comparison you are a roller and I hope you keep on rollin'. I remember about a year and half ago a Harley rider braggin' on his '06 and said he was a "high roller" and had 26,000. He was taken back when I was rolling around 60,000 with my '08 Vision. What can we say...?

Rolled 6K yesterday leading a benefit ride to raise money for the Tift Co. Relay for Life. The total raised was $1373.00 with 41 bikes going on a 99.4 mile trip. Just had the bike a little over 4 mo. and had a lot of rain (cold not a problem / rain take the cage) during those months. My rate of miles per month will be going up now that it is nice weather. Hope to do a Bun Burner 1500 to Sturgis with some friends or a 10 - 48 this year. Really enjoying my Vision.

I have 22,200 miles on mine. Riding to work and home again just does not put that many miles on the Vision.

Ride Safe!

RT, think hard, you put over 7,000 miles a year... that is not shabby mileage, most extreme harley riders brag about that kind of mileage... Congrats!

Gosh,

I thought I was rolling along pretty good. Just turned 34,000 last month. Building a house really cut into my ride time.Had 32,400 when we started building and anloy made a couple thousand since.

KEEP on ROLLING ALONG SONG FAN!!!!
Give me a jingle if you ever get to Hill Country again.

Congrats on the 50K. Last year I only got 7200 on both bikes combined. But I did drive over 55K for work last year in my car. Damn work keeps me on the road and off the bikes too much.

Did you know that 50 thousand miles is twice around the earth?

Last year at this time I did not know or even think about it but it came up in a conversation in Hyder.

The circumference of the earth at the equator is 24,901.55 miles so for every 25,000 miles you put on you could have ridden around the planet!

Black Cherry and I were out for a little ride this AM with the Geezers and I noticed the odometer when it hit 55555 but since I was riding in a group there was no way to pull over for a picture. You'll just have to trust me on this LOL. Damn oil changes are gonna make me go broke

I have noticed that many of you guys use the Rotella and Super Tech filter without problems...My bike is fairly new with about 1650 miles on odo..Changed at dealer at 500 check-up, but would like to do my own oil change in future...Does Victory give one crap about not using their oil during the initial warranty period????

you are about to start Oil War III with that question. In simple, simple terms, as long as the oil is rated for your machine and changed within the appropriate intervals as designated by the manufacturer, NO. However, you set yourself up for them to argue making claim that it was the choice of oil if you have a catastrophic failure. Most will stick to the T the "recommended" oil until the warranty is over.

I set myself up on this one by making it public, but I've not always changed my oil within the time limit, and I've used about 3 different oil brands for a total of about 6 different viscosity in my bike. After 20+ oil changes at an average of 4 - 5,000 mile change intervals I use little or no oil. I always drain over four quarts out when I change the oil and never put any in in between changes. In fact, I don't even check my oil in between changes.

Thanks Cap'n and I have ridden for over 40 years and never had an oil issue...NO I DO NOT WANT TO SEE ONE WORD ON OTHER OILS!!!!! I just was curious and should have known better than to ask that stupid question on this board cause everyone has their opinions and I do not want to read or hear them..... Thanks for your input.........Hope to ride many trouble free miles as this is probably my last bike..Pushing 72 and not looking to move up to anything else in the future....
