What I'm interested in is the process you used to partially black out the headlight.? I don't think I've ever seen that before, and I really like the look it gives the front end of the Vision.

I did sort of the same thing, I used gloss black vinyl car wrap to reshape the headlight. I did have to trim it back across the top because the headlight gets very hot there, almost too hot to touch and it started to bubble the wrap.

thanks for all the opinions both for and against. Gil is right I used black vinyl on the head light...well , Skip used black vinyl on the head light. He did all the work for me. Great guy to hang with and great at what he does. He's the red head in the pic. I'm not that cute

here is a pic from this year when I went north of the Artice Circle on a sportster

How was the Thundersticks install? I've heard there's a little monkeying that needs to be done to install them.
Regarding Mark 16:15. You may want to consider Math 6:1-8, Math 7:21-23 and Acts 5:42.

there was some work needed to fit the heat shields. I just tacked some nuts to the heat shiled post and used bolt to set the height. they are only need where the thunder cone meets up with the header. the other side mounts right to the thunder cone.l worth the work for me as I love the sound.

you do not have to run the shields but some believe it looks more finished if you do.

here's a sound clip

Decorate your bike however you want, you paid for it! Not like your trying to get the government to pay for your beliefs.

Glad to see you got your Vision John. Looks great. And good to have you in the SC CMA region. I was one of the guys at the COC rally in Hatfield with a Vision. Mine was the Midnight Cherry '09.

As far as the message.....To each their own. I am Jewish so it obviously isnt to my taste, but if thats your faith then so be it.

As far as the graphics, again not really to my taste, but if you like graphics on bikes then I would say it is well done for what it is so bravo. My only suggestion is to reverse the king proclamation on the front so it reads correct in a rearview mirror like an ambulance's hood graphics!!

As far as CMA, I have a Jewish friend who went down on his Harley in Sturgis and was stranded without proper medication in the hospital. Some riders from the CMA rode all the way to his home, picked up his wife and medication and brought it back to him in the hospital. CMA has my very much deserved respect for caring for riders of all faiths and locales.

As far as Tebow...............GO PATRIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

willtill----I hope for your sake that you don't ever voice your opinion in such a disrespectful manner in front of a "club member". Voicing your opinion is fine, direspect is not.
JohnWesley---I like the all black tour. I am biased though. You keep doing YOUR thing and spreading your message.

thanks all, I like both bikes a lot, the sporty has crossed the arctic circle in the only two places to do it in North America. Held up great and was a blast to ride. On the way home I hit strugis with it and was the odd duck out

The Vision it nearing 3,000 miles now and I like it more each time I ride it. I had to take the Road Glide into the shop today and it felt really odd. I forgot how much different those two bikes are. Dad and I was discussing it on the way home and the bikes are so different that they really aren't comparable. I have to say that there really isn't anything like it.

As a Christian first, citizen of the United States of America second, and biker third I believe everyone is entitled to their opinion. Sometimes it would be much better if they kept it to themselves. You know if you can't say something good do not say anything really applies in this case. The bike looks very good to me graphics included. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do mine!

I don't give a flip what you consider opinion and disrespect. And I don't give a flying flip about kowtowing to the CMA, and their beliefs. Wesley posts his graphics work on his new bike in a public forum, he's going to get opinions on it.

Your veiled threat in your first sentence; is the prime example of religious hypocrisy. It's either the religious zealots way, or no way. Religion is the root of all evil; the most common denominator of war since recorded human conflict; and mankind continues to perpetuates it.

Don't mean to hijack this thread and have tried to stay out of it. Wayne's post brought me out of the woodwork on this one. Sorry fella's

Way to go John. Vision and message. Last I checked, we still have the 1st Amendment intact. (That is, until O'bummer gets his way!) Secondly, Gods message supersedes any trite blather in a mc forum! I love being here and reading, but, don't disrespect someone's opinion (truth!).

I have to disagree, DrDecay. You claim we shouldn't "disrepect someone's opinion (truth!)", but you've just disrespected Will's opinion on John's Vision as it doesn't fit with your own beliefs.

Have you considered that perhaps not everyone on the forum believes that "Gods message supersedes any trite blather in an mc forum" ??

Why is Will "disrepecting" John's bike by saying that he finds it over the top, after John has posted pictures in a public forum which invites comments ?

I personally don't like the decals firstly because I think they spoil the lines of the bike, and secondly as they are certainly in your face, but there is no way I would ever say that John should remove them. That's his choice, and that's fine. Pretty much what Will said, really. How this can be twisted as some sort of personal attack is beyond me.

I believe it boils down to proper decency and respect for another's choices in life. If you don't have the common decency to respect other's choices in life, Shut the f(^&%^^%^% UP!

WillTill - does your comment in a open forum where you have freely shown your opposition and personal distaste for another's choice, make you a better person or does it promote a sense of decency to the person posting. I would care to say NO!

So, if I were guessing the poster (johnwesley) did not put a picture up there for you to bash or disagree with. As with, nevermind, I just lost all energy to fight a psychological battle with some folks.

To those who decorate and enlighten their bikes to their tastes, ENJOY IT FOR YOU! I give a hearty well done, no matter if I agree or not, you took the time and effort so I applaude.

Merry Christmas to all and here's to a better and more enjoyable New YEAR!

For all of those here whom are shrieking, crying and wetting your pants; fill this out; it'll make you feel better

http://i42.tinypic.com/263gh34.jpg

My comments about John Wesley's graphics weren't even directed at the majority here; it was a reply to John's original post itself. Those chiming in about a perceived personal attack are dead wrong; it is simply a critique of what and how he decaled his bike. I still think it looks awful, and I'm not going to fade and withdraw that opinion; to appease a bunch of liberally minded forum members whom are attempting to censor that.

It appears to me that John Wesley took my comments in stride; and demonstratively has a thick skin concerning it. Most of the rest of you would do well from learning how to deal with it; instead of continuing to pontify this thread regarding my comment.

For you John, whatever floats your boat. Enjoy your graphics and ride safe.

This is my last post on this particular thread. I've got better things to do than sit here and read about how unfair some of you think the world is.

Got to admit, I like the Sporty dirt bike! Anybody good with photoshop who can cyber-mod a Vision into an adventure scoot? Maybe BMW should be nervous LOL!
