CALGARY ALBERTA | I m surprised by the overwhelm of Vision to keep and CC for second bike. Might be new Vision instead. I lost faith in my dealer and will have to look further to buy one.

Green Bay, WI United States | About a year and a half ago I was going to trade Twister and Hot Rod on a trick CC. Was ready to sign papers and took the CC for a last "Victory" ride if you will and the wind buffeting was so bad I did not do the deal. I have been on the fence between the CC and Vision. Still there. I will say if I was going to get a CC; itbiker has a dream bike for sale. All the right extras to end the wind buffeting and other extras included that are sweet and the bike is priced right. As always:

| When i was trading my Ultra Classic I rode the CC Tour first; I liked it but then I rode the Vision and for me there was no decisions, it was the Vision hands down for comfort, handling and smoothness. I do like the bags and look better on the CC, but it's all about the ride. If it was about the look I would have kept my Harley |

My wife hates the look of the Vision. She fell in love with the CC. Back in June she gave me the green light to trade my 08 vv on a cc. I did my home work. The last step was a side by side cc vs vv . Ended up with a new Vision. Same color as the 08 it was 2 days before she noticed
That's HILARIOUS! I love it!!
And Steve, I agree. I would love to have the new Green with flames CC as a SECOND ride.

I already told her no F----- way for the "cute little trailer" she thought the world of. She is a sweetheart but needs 20 weeks of stuff to go a weekend if you know what I mean. Just learned that she has a propane curling iron, "GIT ON THE BIKE AND LETS RIDE LIKE HELL". She is an excellent passenger and has learned my style of riding, mostly HAUL ASS AND PASS. We were almost wrecked by Ashland, WI. and she then understood why I pass and leave the cages behind. One less thing to take you down As I always say to you all: |

, FL United States | Seems like there are some people that go from the VV to the CC back to the VV. I did test ride a 2012 CC lot of wind. I then test rode the 2012 VV. Did notice the feel of the handle bars were different than my 08 VV. I also like the top load of the saddle bag along with their space. But I will stick with my 08 VV.. |

| I switched from a 2010 Ness Vision to a XC and love it. XC bags are removable and bigger. My right calf doesn't bake anymore as it did on summer rides. More aftermarket stuff for the XC. The Vision was a awesome bike other than those issues. I would've kept the bike if I went on long trips it was great for that. Truthfully I'd like to have one of every model. |

Tri Cities, WA | I have been riding a vision since 2008. The wife traded in here HD street glide for her 12-XCT. I have rode her XCT bike allot this past summer. I have to say that I think that vision would win out on everything except the carrying capacity and stock stereo systems. My wife loves her XCT. I think my vision handles better, looks cooler, protects against wind better and if I had only one bike to ride from this day on I would choose the VISION over any other bike. I have ridin many makes and models and nothing compares to my vision. so I would keep your vision bobbybhb.. JMHO... |

Halifax, NS | I test road the Vision first because I think they look so cool. But with the wife on board I found it a handfull at slow speeds. It seemed the fairing was way out there and the buttons were a reach.
Then tried the CC and there was to much wind and buffeting.
Then they changed the CC to the CCT with the the tall shield and hard lowers. There is NO wind or Buffeting. If I still smoked I could light a smoke while running down the highway. I dont know how they did it but I dont see any bad effects from having the fairing fork mounted.
I do realy like the power shield on the Vision. And the look is the best on the road.....
But I bought the XCT..

Southeast Iowa | I bought the 1st Vision my dealer got in 07. I rode that bike for almost 40,000 miles and loved it with the exception of a few things. First off I think the trunk looks like a pellican beak and I took it off the 2nd week I owned the bike. The saddle bags just plain suck! Awkward flimsy doors that open from the side. A very odd shaped box that would barely hold my leather jacket. Too much engine heat that cooks your balls anytime it gets above 90 degs. The solution was to install lowers (which I did) but I always hated them because they looked like SHIT. The Vision seems to catch more wind than any bike I've ever owned. The wake behind big trucks and strong crosswinds are worse on the Vision than any bike I had owned before. The last thing I didn't like was the wind buffeting on my back. For some reason the Vision blocks the wind extreemly well in the front but causes the wind to blow against your back. I traded my beloved Vision on the 1st CC Tour my dealer got in 2011. After 7000 miles I like the CCT more than I liked the Vision. I now leave the tour pack on because it looks good. The saddle bags are HUGE and nothing falls out when I open the lid. The fairing and lowers keep most of the wind off you and you can open up the lowers when it gets hot. The ability to control the cockpit temp is MUCH better on the XCT. There is no wind buffeting and no strange wind pressure on my back and I havn't missed the electric windshield at all. I do miss the Vision in cold weather as it did a better job of keeping my hands and knees warm. To me the CCT feels more nimble and does not get blown around like the Vision did. The ride and handling feels the same as the Vision. The only 3 things I miss that the Vision had was 1. A better seat. 2. Easier audio controls 3. Better GPS mount. To sum it up I think they are both great bikes but after ownong both off them I would choose the CC Tour over the Vision because it is not affected as much by the wind and has better storage which is important on a touring bike. |

Peru, IN | I've only had my Vision for just under a month but I wouldn't trade it for a XC/XCT if they gave me $5000 to boot. I rode both at the demo days (beginning of last month) and I agree with what the others have said. You sit ON a XC and IN a VV. The air management, comfort, control (I call it my Victory Ninja) all go to the Vision plus that totally AWESOME power windscreen. I don't have an OL so all my crap will easily fit in the bags/trunk. If I planned on 2 up, I'd have to consider the XCT (but I'd still stick with the VV). I have yet to take the trunk off and see how much better it handles but my face still hurts from the smile with the trunk on. I don't think the XC looks like the HD but it's obvious that's the general look they were going for. (If I wanted a Harley, I would have bought one.) I think the ONLY thing the XCT has over the Vision is the bags. There are supposed to be some changes in the '14 VV. I'll bet storage is one of them. |

| I had an 08 Tour Premium, rode it for three years and 39K miles and loved the ride and performance. I hated the bags and trunk and some of the PITA maintenance items. The thing I miss the most is the electric windshield.
I traded it for a 12 XCT in June and have 7K miles on it. I love the way it rides, my wife says she gets less wind on the back of it and the stereo is worlds away better than the Vision. The cruise control is much smoother and the bike in general is much easier to work on. But best of all it doesn't have those POS linked brakes which is what I hated the most about the Vision.
Both bikes have their good and not so good points, but all things considered I'll stick with my XCT. |

Sounds alot like the Harley opinion differences between EG and RG riders..............In the long run it's actually good that Victory riders have two nice touring bikes to choose from........ |

Southeast Iowa | I noticed that almost everyone that owns a Vision prefers it over the XC Tour but I also noticed everyone that has actually owned both prefer the XC Tour over the Vision. The good news for us all is Victory makes both and you can buy either one you choose. |

Peru, IN | I think alot of the XC/XCT owners just like a more "classic" looking ride. Even though the XC is different than anything else out there, it still retains the basic "classic" or Harley look that the world is accustomed to. (Is that spelled right?) The Vision doesn't look like anything out there. I really don't see how anyone could say that the XC rides or handles better than the Vision unless there was something wrong with the Vision they rode. Both are nice rides, but I don't see how they really compare. The air management doesn't compare, either. I'll admit I'm biased towards the Vision since that's what I own but I've ridden both, at least enough to be able to notice the differences. The one thing I can give to the XC/XCT is luggage space. It wins, hands down. |
